That is because In Saudi Arbaia, the highest speed you can get is 100 Mbps so its higher than your 40 mbps. The thing I don't like about it is expensive. Plus, its not me who buys internet :) its my father so he buys it according to his use. In Pakistan, the internet cost is wayyyyyy cheeper almost 60% cheeper...

my computer is a dell dimension 2400, and it is so fricking fast, it actually crashes the internet connection for everyone, including me, if there is 2/3 or more people using the same router. the problem for me is the router i am hooked up to, and tat problem is...it can't handle too many devices hooked up to it at once, otherwise everyone's connection crashes. my computer internet speed adds majorly to that problem, meaning i can't download big files with other on the router. just saying... :)

If you want to find the best DNS speed available to you download DNSBench.exe at the GRC dot COM website. It tests the speed in real time and gives you all the stats. WAY beyond the general info in this video. Just Google DNSBench.exe if your lazy.

P.S. changing to Open DNS may not be your best option. The DNS Benchmark software will tell you for sure and it's fun to play with. GRC has been around for 20+ years and is a safe source to download from.

Bad advice. Should have provided system requirements. People using Juno dialup, for instance, can absolute F their computer doing this.
