The best part of this battle is the part before all the Jedi show up. When they are fighting the creatures using their skills and the force rather than lightsabers. And how come Jedi can never use the force to remove their own handcuffs?

The fact the the "Expanded Universe" includes metals and animals that resist the Force is enough to justify my staying away. Plus in ROTJ Luke is wearing handcuffs and the Emperor uses the force to remove them so the "force resistant" theory is void.

@GBev2K Because they obviously weren't of the Force resistant kind. I can't think of any Force-resistant metals, but there's a metal known as cortosis that could resist lightsabers, to an extent. Enough that, hypothetically, anyone using a sword made out of it could fight a Jedi/Sith and win (Force powers aside). Terentateks and ysalamir are 2 of the most notable non-sentient life forms that could naturally resist the Force.

Not only was Windu a master at Vaapaad(the stronest light saber form) But he had an ability called shatterpoint. Which Is why he was able to defeat Sideous & Yoda wasn't.(He was focused on Sideous so he couldn't see Anakins SP ) Although Mace would lose to Dokuu or Yoda In a light saber battle without the use of his ability.
