hi Irishcurls I hope you know that this Skerries Light house is by Anglesey North wales I say this In case you think it in the Skerries Ireland . But I think gedebage below seems to know more, I would reply to him. Light Keeper where a hardly lot and it your your grandfather was a keeper he must of been a good man.

I am a amazed. He was my Uncle and I lived in Skerries in 1967. David also worked in a lighthouse in Castletownbere in 1961. We stayed with them on holidays then. I was only 6 years old then

wow a lovely day on the water...sigh. I've forgotten how it feels to have the salt air in my hair. I used to love to go boating, gives you a whole new prospective on life. Great to get away as well. Excellent vid Jim.

These are my friends and work mates with there two sons. We planed to go fishing and get the lads on film boys day out. Alas I wasn't in the youtube film. Director behind camera film stars in front:) There is talk planning another one. I'll be in that one.

We all grue up by the sea with boats and Bacon butty's it a right of passage. jimsim
