Don't listen to the haters. Seeing as they haven't actually made any Bloody Jack movies, you did what you could, and might I say well done. I am a huge fan of the series and now of your trailers.
@dustinw0lf Jacky is only 15 or so. In "In the Wake of the Lorelei Lee" Jacky says, "Sixteen sir, I'll be seventeen in October" or something close to that when she has to 'marry' Higgins.
DAMNATION GIRL, that is one hell of a movie trailer! Absolutely spectacular. I can't even imagine how many hours it took to create that and it is amazingly true to the book. Congratulations and I look forward to seeing your name on the big screen some day as "edited, produced and directed by, Breanne Brennan."
Awesome trailer for an awesome book!!! jacky descriptio is spot on she is only 15 in that book and its says alot of times in the series that she is small for her age, over all great trailer
@shawnmitten that is not a voice over. That is from a movie called Davy Crockett and the River Pirates and all the flat boat scenes are from that movie
I loved it, but I have to admit that I laughed out loud when Lord Richard Allen said his line in a voice higher than my own (and I'm a girl). I'm not trying to insult, but...but it was awesomly funny, let's leave it at that xD
I did like the video no doubt about that, it's just the voices where a little cheesy... theres tons of old videos that Jacky's voice could fit... I've even been told by my friend tht I could be Jacky's voice. I laughed at first but then took it into consideration. But by all means any person could play Jacky she's an ambitious person who is a girl but acts like a boy LOL!!!!!!
couple of problems, you made jacky look way young, jacky is around 17 at that time. And the book is during the start of the 1800s so steam boats wouldnt be around yet, as portrayed in your trailer.
First off, Jacky is 15 in this book. If you can find me an older actress that looks Jacky-esqe and period appropriate, then by all means I'd love to hear suggestions. Second, steamboats were around in the early 1800s, albeit not this particular kind seen here until about 1811 (eg: The New Orleans or the Enterprise) It's just a minor detail anyhow.
@hermionehp14 Mike Fink is a character in America's history. Historians aren't sure if he was a real man or not, but he is in many books and movies. You can look him up anywhere on the internet.
YESSSSSSSSSSS !!!!! this is amazing !!! Haha I loved every scene you put together !!!!
