The word women in arabic is Hareem, Hareem has the root word Haram which means sacred, even mekka is called the Haram mosque (sacred mosque), so we view women as something sacred.

That's why one of the most powerful love poems are in Arabic.

A nice thought. However as we know there is know evidence for god. The doco shows how he turned to god in fear of death. It is a very clear that this is one of several reasons to find god along with being scared of the dark and unknown. As for Cat Stevens he is one of my favourite musical artists and i wish him all the best.
