hey, Im wanting to control my living room light with X10, Do I just need to buy an wall mount switch to replace my wall switch or do I need any other product? Im trying to control the living room light with Logitech Harmony 1100 (which supports X10) but I dont know if I need any other products or if i need to totally rewire the house... thanks
@Polinio09 I have upgraded the X10 system allot since filming this video and will upload a video maybe in a month when i have upgraded it some more , Yes you need a Dimmer module to dim lights and a RF remote and a transceiver or a computer interface module , and unfortunately i have not the time to help you in great detail , Sorry

hi there,
I was wondering 2 things...
1:do you have msn or skype or some way of typechatting, as i really need some advice on x10 systems?
2: do i need a dimmer modual to dim lights and fans or just a switch and the control interface equipment?
I dont yet own any x10 equipment however im currently bidding on a pack to get started.

@Polinio09 To answer your question, I just recently purchased some software that will allow you to take advantage of using X10. go to guild3d dot com
it is amazing, it is called a virtual assistant. in a nutshell, its artificial intelligence.
