We are blessed to have the right to vote. I do not want anyone to tell me how to vote, with the threat of excommunication or eternal damnation. The only diety I will pray to as to how to vote is God. That is religious freedom and democracy.
I am a Hispanic Catholic, and have always voted against those seeking to expand the "pro choice" and homosexual agendas. You cannot be Catholic and do otherwise, because it's a matter of right and wrong.
Speaking as a Hispanic, I have been so ashamed of my race lately. We make up a large percentage of Catholics globally. For us to give our vote to Obama in full knowing it is against the doctrines specified in our Catechism, that we are not to support politicians that are pro-choice is alarming.

Those almost or actually full term babies are stabbed in the skull on the way out of the birth canal or left to die alone...with no care, compassion, nourishment. EVIL, he is evil.

Voting for Obama is great for Growth matter of the USA because all his plans are really good and well ellaborated but the ugly part is is position on LIFE. The Catholic Church did not "hand-pick" George Bush, and "thinking" for ourselves is what gets us into the predicaments we are currently in. We Catholics have a set of moral teachings to follow; if we reject them, we have no right to call ourselves Catholic. One of them is the sacredness of human life, which means abortion is always wrong, and supporting a candidate who supports abortion is wrong. But the Bishops are weak, the pastors are weak, and Catholics are left to decide on their own.

This issue is tearing me up inside - my heart was broken when I learned that 54% of my Church voted for the most pro-abortion Senator in history! What is wrong with Catholics when they justify the life of 50 million babies killed against social issues like being kind to immigrants?
