  • They could kick the Ronin Warriors ass....god that show was drawn out and lame when it re-aired on Toonami

  • You can watch all the episodes on Kidlet if any of you can get the site working i found my way around googling stuff and ended up watching the first season on some site :D

  • Right after this (or maybe before) Super Nintendo came out with a video game of this. Anyone remember that?

  • no frickin way. looooooooool i loooooooved this!! was always my fav part

  • Totally getting "I pledge Fairness to all, to protect the weak, and vanquish the evil" as a tat.

  • I was thinking they looked sorta familiar, and then the freakin sword popped outta his chest and I was like,"FUuuuuuuuu!!! Its those guys!!!"

  • Despite they way this is recorded.. Its freaking awesome!

  • What's hilarious is that they sometimes used to do this more than once per episode. Combine that with the wicked intro and you have some of the coolest repetitiveness ever.

  • You know, this impresses me for the numbers. 11/12 guys, plus their horses and wargear. Difficult to pull that many off well. Of course not everyone gets equal screentime, but...

  • Epic 0:57

  • Speak the oath......

In blackest day and brightest night...eh watermelon canteloupe, yadda yadda, a superstitious and cowardly lot, with liberty and justice for all.

Yeah I think I got it right...right Merlin?

  • @longliveoakenfold87 you would get turned into a frog for saying it wrong :p

still go go power...er... knights, yeah, knights

  • this show had cool music and hot guys ,lol

  • thank you mom and dad that i was a kid in the 90's

  • thanks mom and dad i was a kid in the 80's and 90s hehe:)

  • Does King Arthur's horse have missiles on it? I am pretty sure those were missiles....

  • @Mormodes yes... missiles and black knight, or should i say nigga knight?

  • I think I actually watched this!

  • cartoons in our time, told us to be nice, honest, good, those cartoons were cool and educational somewhat, nowdays, watching tv isnt even worth it

  • 0:56 - 0:59 ThunderCats much?

    lol good cartoon, though.

  • @ChayDawg64

WTS legend of Excalibur. That spirit is the Lady of the Lake,

  • @TheFuzzwood ok. cool. but i didnt ask who she was.

  • Omg this brings back memories, one of the best series ever made! Love the music too, especially the music played at the oath, does anybode know the name of this song, or even better, a longer version?

  • The cartoons of the -80's and 90's were way better than the modern cartoons. They should bring the old ones back and stop showing modern sh'*t!

  • Love this!

Kids! If you don't remember this show - it's because it was made back in the day when it was alright to portray men as competent and intelligent and not some bumbling half dwit side kick to the overly competent, know it all female lead!

    Ah...those were the days!

  • And that's how it happenned. This is history, people.

  • @MrBuch169169 LOL!

Yep, King Arthur played football and had a magical table that would make Sailormoon enviours! He also had a multi-race Knights of Justice. King Arthur, a true visionary he was!

(FYI, the reason why I loved this show as a kid was because it was the only cartoon that had an Asian or what I always took for Asian character in it)

  • @actracts .....I'm betting that guy was Asian and/or Samoan/Maori.

  • Sounds like a stupid rock band to me...

  • King Arthur meets He-Man

  • Green Lantern Corps, eat your heat out.

  • Who says Japanese cartoons were the only ones with good transformation sequences?!

    ^-^

  • @Maliki79 A lot of those shows had japs working on them, and it SHOWS a lot.

  • @Bloodlyshiva I believe it!

  • really great times all of the shows between 80s and 90s deserves the title AWESOME

  • GOLDEN TIMES !!!! great cartoons , the bests

  • Arthur was rollin deep!!! lmao

  • Miss this so much.

  • good old times man..good stuff right there

  • ahhhhh i love these old toon's had my face glued to the set every saturday along with the real adventures of johnny quest ,swat kats, mighty max, mummies alive, double dragon, beast wars and so on.Its a shame kid's have to watch this shit they call cartoon's nowaday's,more like cartsnooze and the make no f'n sense!

  • @xM455xK0NFUZ10Nx did you watch Centourions too?

  • @DjayJohn lmao, yea what a kick ass cartoon i even had some of action figures :)

  • I would call this show a Saban-like one. Just replace the Power Rangers with the Knights of Justice and King Arthur.

  • kids today dont know how much they missed out on.

  • oh snaps!!....i havent seen this shit in over 20yrs....badass!!

  • good times good times :)

  • I can't believe I still remembered the entire oath word for word and I'm 24 Lol. Ah the 90's, best ever Lol

  • Brings back good ol memories, this cartoon was awesome.

  • The oath/transformation was exactly what I was looking for. AAAAHHHHH, memories :)

  • Hey there's 2 black guys, a hispanic, and an asian! How do they explain that in Medival England?

  • @Makiruz

Because they weren't the original knights. Merlin went and got a football team from the 20th century and brought them back to help find the real Arthur and knights of the round, who had been kidnapped.

  • @Makiruz The football team had only 2 black guys on it!

How do you explain that in modern times? o_O

  • you do know this is just a cheap copy of saint seyia right? RIGHT?? O_o

  • почему последняя лошадь с ракетницей на боку?))

  • I remember it now! Awesome!

  • The Roundtable rising out of the floor and carrying the "knights" up with them as the ceiling opens reminds me of the Cartoon "MASK" from the 80's when they recieve thier masks maybe a case of recycled animation

  • Let's see they were sent back from Modern America to Mid-evil British Isles and no-one from "Camelot" noticed that some of these knights weren't caucasian, (there was at least one Asian and a few Blacks which had not at that time been seen in British Isles...) I love how they made sure this show was Politically correct rather than historically accurate, lol

  • @rocketdude1979 There have been non-Whites in Britain for a very long time. They just unearthed African remains that date back to 1190-1300. That's not long after Arthur and his knights were active, according to legend.

  • @baeritukaez I know there have been long range trade all across Eurasia for a long time with things such as the Silkroad to China (Asians), and with widespread commerce across in the Mediterrainan (Northern Africans) being is but to have seen them in the British Isles with barely a blink to me is Political Correctness running wild.

  • So..... Let me get this straight; King Arthur was a football player from the future and his hall was basically a space-ship with the power to dress him and his horses without the use of stable-hands and servants?

Man, I'm glad this was on at the same time as TMNT, which saved me from this bizarre shit.

  • @moltentigerclaw I guess you are not capable of learning one thing a see the fun in another. Actually if you had a little more knowledge you would see this is a modified version of "A Yankee at the court of King Arthur", but noooo "BATMAN BATMAN"! (see romanian Altex commercial.)

  • @uskro What the hell do you mean by that first sentence at all? o-O How can I be incapable of 'learning one thing a see fun in another'. That entire thing makes no sense, like the entire premise of this thing.

And where the fuck did I even mention Batman? I never even watched Batman as a child and only got into watching the episodes on adult swim.

I think you should try using your brain before telling me I have to gain a little more knowledge, kthnx.

  • Let me spell this out for you:

    1. Learn the fact - enjoy the fiction

    2. Knowledge of the book called: "A yankee at the court of King Arthur"

    3. See Altex Batman Commercial in which two people push a priest wearing dark clothes over the side of a church at which one said: "I told you he's a priest, but you say he's BATMAN BATMAN!" I quote from my previous comment "see romanian Altex commercial!" It had nothing to do with watching batman. but hey.

  • @uskro Allow me to return the favor;

1-I don't have to enjoy everything you do.

2-Knowledge=/=knowing every crappy book that comes out. Knowledge is the result that perception, reasoning and learning have on the human psychology, not knowing every worthless bit of trivia out there.

3-Again; what does that have to do with me?

4-Why the hell are you getting so worked up over the fact that I don't like a show from the 80s? Go nerd rage somewhere else. I'm not going to bother after this.

  • moltentigerclaw I'm not getting worked up, you seemed to have a problem figuring the arguements out, and you still do. Don't criticize something just because it had its origins in legend. so what? I knew the legend long before I show. And if a Mark Twain book is worthless trivia, then my friend you have a serious problem. But I bet you didn't even look it up. If you can't hold value to at least the greatest authors then you shouldn't hold value to a harmless legend.go read the bible.it fits you.

  • @uskro I'm not Christian, you idiot.

  • @moltentigerclaw you didn't find nothing in there but the subtle irony of reading the bible :)) which you didn't get. let me rephrase: go read anything religious that you oblige to. it fits you. there, i didn't mean to offend your belief.

  • last one was tone's triumph

  • damn it i join the football team back in high school to become a knight of justice! I got hoed out of that dream

  • Hmm, nice

  • epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Like almost any animated kids show with a progressive plot, it was canceled before they found all the Keys of Truth needed to free the knights.

  • ahh man i remember this shit... This was one bad ass football team!!!!

  • Dang I forgot about this.

  • @tuchesuavae

BLASPHAMY!!!!! How dare you forget the oath, lol :-)

  • at 0:10 I'm like, "what is this, a frat house?"

  • @BenHutchinson1

    FAIL

  • Why was my comment "FAIL"? It was a joke. Don't you know a joke when you see one?

  • @BenHutchinson1

Your not allowed to joke about the knights, lol.

  • man that was awesome!

lol I used to watch this when I was a kid

    who remembers conan?

  • Conan the adventurer was awesome!!

  • I do!!! I love it. brings back fond memories.

  • @Za3rour

Conan the Adventurer? Talk about a show that friggin' puts hairs on your chest. I'm watching the whole series of that front to back.

  • Wow, this makes me wanna play "Knights of the Round" on SNES again. Lancelot looks pretty close to his original counterpart.

  • Lol, they had to be politically correct with the black guys and I think there was one that looked Latino. Just like real old England...:/

  • They were a football team that came from the future. Idiot. Watch the show before u criticise it. There were moors in england though, just fyi.

  • A tear came to my eye when I heard "THE OATH" again. DAMN this brings me back. classic, classic,CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This cartoon and Brave Star were the last good

cartoons. After that cartoons went downhill and kept getting worse. Most of the cartoons now are

garbage. Kids today are missing out.

  • why no more violence? Liberals agenda?

srsly, all the toons today are wacky and goofy but are non violent.

    bring back cartoon violence!

  • It's more than the non violence. The animation is

bad and the plot is weak.

  • lol they had not one but TWO black guys LOL!!!

  • This had the greatest opening.

  • Did these guys ever make it back home?

  • Yes they did but it was kind of sad.

  • KINDA! they were all empty and stuff. ahhahaha. even as a kid i knew they missed there adventrures

  • why was it sad?

  • If I recall correctly King Arthurs mother was suffering from some real bad illness. In a sense she was dieing (if I recall correctly) and every one went back to see her. She died (once again if I recall correctly) and every one was sad over it. It was sad in the sense in what you would do if you lost a loved one.

  • wow thats pretty deep for a kid cartoon lol

  • It wasn't King Arthur's mother who was deathly ill.

One of the other knight's mother was deathly ill

Only Arthur and that other knight went back to see her.

  • oops well thanks for the correction.

  • Actually the plot had nothing to do with a sick mother of one of the knights. The show was about badguys who captured the real King Arthur and his knights, and Merlin bringing a football team from the future as a temporary replacement, and to free the captured knights and king.

  • So many good cartoon in the 90's...most of them cancelled way too soon...BRING 90's CARTOONS BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • we need a cable channel that shows t those classic saturday morning cartoons and new ones not like that stupid Jane the Dragon and that stupid dragon knight piece of shit knock off the cartoons today need to take turns jumping in a pile of shit

  • This gave me chills. I feel like I'm 8 years old again, lol.

I remember in one of the episodes Arthur King met the real King Arthur who was trapped in a crystallized orb or something. But I suppose they never rescued him because the show cancelled too soon.

Anywayz, thanks a lot for posting this!

  • I don't believe it was canceled. I know that happens often with imported animes as kids TV shows, but American cartoons do NOT get canceled like that from my experience.

  • Well, here in the Netherlands, the final episode was never shown. And I've followed this cartoon everyday. So do you know if they save King Arthur and return home? I wish they would release the whole series on dvd.

  • They JUST released it. I mean they released it just earlier this month! Go to Amazon (dot) com and type in

"King Arthur and the Knights of Justice: The Complete Animated Series"

(type everything you see in the quotes, or copy-paste, but not the quote marks themselves).

    Yes, it IS finally here!

  • It's 26 episodes long.

  • Man, what happened to good cartoons? Loved this show. Loved early saturday's for shows like this. Stupid Yu-Gi Oh, stupid card game cartoons ruining cartoons. Stupid tweenage shows. AHHHH!!! I miss the 90's.

  • ooh they threw in some brothas!!

  • i would love to own a suit of armor for display, but unfortunately in reality european armor was rather plain and boring looking. unlike the colorful ones in this cartoon.

    but samurai armor looks amazing.

  • lets face it, saturday morning cartoons suck now compared to the early 80-90s. Shows like this were rare gems in a field of mediocrity. I pity kids now a days, they miss out on classic shows.

  • What makes it so great was that we had a reason to get up at 7am on a Saturday morning. You would get up earlier on Saturday than you did any day of the week just to see cartoons. Now it's the same stuff. Everything is a card game or a power rangers knock off.

  • This is quoted for life. I remember every saturday it was like a small event me and my friends did. Wake up real early to catch all the cartoons before noon hit.

I feel sorry for kids now they have nothing to wake up early for.

  • @omegaanthrax

    indeed they do :(

  • @omegaanthrax i know. my goal, if i ever have kids, is to show them the cartoons that I grew up with so that they can know that I knew what cool cartoons were.

  • @omegaanthrax had to agree! it was really incomparable!

  • ah all those memories.....

  • Haha bunch of guys on a bus bump into this shit. I loved this cartoon.

  • THE KNIGHTS OF JUSTICE FUCKIN OWN!!!!

  • Holy crap!!! I so much remember this. Til this day everytime i whistle i end up whistling this tune somehow

  • Good Times

  • I loved this cartoon, but it looks like those horses were trying to get the hell out of there lol

  • I love theme of oath. Before me and friends went to school we would recite the oath. lol. I miss being a kid.

  • thanks for the upload and thank u ben i was thing bout the mystic knights but could nt member the name till now

  • If you like this show you'll like the live action show Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog

  • From two minus points I dropped you to one because As A King Arthur and the Knights of Justice fan I do agree that Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog is another great series to watch.

  • i still shocked how good music was in this cartoon hear chorus background really pissed me off now people are lying to put the cartoon show for children now we need something like this to teach kid about what right or wrong ?

  • Amen to that :) The moral's that I live by, most of it came from shows like this and Double Dragon

  • son lo mas...

    they´re the best

    mac

  • Pimp my horse? good cartoon btw. . .

  • I remember the video game for snes, it was hard as f**K to conquer

  • i luv the black dude bill russell celtic pride square head look like carlton banks from the fresh prince of bel-air and luv when they put protective gear and armor on the horses. fukin awesome

  • for anyone who missed the 90's cartoon shows, they missed out on some great shows

  • this was the shit, loved the ram coming out of the shield, thats fukin creativity eloquent job, this is my childhood, thundercats, bugs bunny, jabberjaw, centurions, centurions, talespin the chipmunks too now its garbage powerpuff girls, jimmy neutron, teamosupremo, im always a kid at heart whatever age.

  • amen to that. dont forget the other greats like pirates of dark water, beetlejuice, tom and jerry kids, Eek! Stravaganza, woody woodpecker show, and so many others. Damn i miss those days. Waking up early on Saturday and Sunday morning to catch those shows.

  • lol look at the mullets!

  • wow the music is so amazing why can't they make show like this today

  • Man i used to ove looking at this back when i was a child...

  • Yes, but I think they came back.

  • That show is tight. It came on Sundays, wich made it phat since back then in 1992 and 1993 there were few station, at least I could find, that had morning catoons to watch.

  • Well in my area it came on weakday afternoons. I wish I saw were they went home. But wgy did they come back? Yeah it was a tight show. At least here when a person got hit they had time to heal.

  • if i remember corectly they only went to the futer find a Key of Truth and the show got canseled before thy could free the real King Arthur

  • thnx dude. wish they would bring it back n finally show a cartoon going out in style.

  • i know what you mean

i gues what they say is true: the more things change the more they stay the same; 17yeas ago i was watching King Autghr, Conan, He-Man, and Ninja Turles, Bush was the President and the economy was failing.

  • Kids nowadays don't know what good cartoons. this was an excellent cartoon.

  • this show will forever be the shit :)

  • Man that show was the shit back in the day

  • It never said if these guys got home or not.

  • not sure the cartoon lasted that long I know it ran for two seasons and that a video game was made I think nintendo and they get to go home in that after you win.

  • They never said how the real King Auther and his knights got caught. Didnt really see all the series. But what they had was tight.

  • I believe in an episode, it is explained how the real King Arthur and the Kights of Justice got locked in the cave. The King and the kinghts went to the cave on a SOS call and fell into a trap.

  • ToxicVenom3D did they ever find the way home?

  • They went home, if I rember correctly then came back.

  • Thnx dude.

  • wow even their steeds get decked out how funny.

  • sho!...i memorized the oath as well...lol

  • Do you know the oath to this day? How about the oath on the cartoon called Visionaires?

  • I MEMORIZED THE OATH WHEN I WAS A KID!!!

  • I think i saw this cartoon once... but that is ages ago.

  • i loved this show as a kid...it needs to be released on DVD

  • It has been. I just bot the 5 first episodes. I do not know if the rest was done as well though

  • This cartoon ruled......

  • That lady of the lake sure has big titties.

  • "Who's the lady with the big dress right after the knights have their armor?" The Lady in the Lake I assume.

  • apparently that's acctually the 'lady of the round table' but hey this series was never overly accurate to the original legends :P

  • Who's the lady with the big dress right after the knights have their armor?
