Outside of the original recordings, this is probably one of the best renditions of the "Main title from Superman" that I've heard. At 01:05 the trumpets nailed that insanely high note! I've never heard another recording/rendition ever hit that note. Bravo!

A total masterpiece! Absolutely timeless! I can't even imagine the thrill of being there and watching the master at work. I bet Beethoven would have loved it and applauded himself. It will never get better than this. Some people I do not understand want a different version; they don't make a shred of sense! That is like saying lets have a new artist paint a new version of Da Vinci's Mona Lisa and take the original down; you suggest that to a French citizen and see what happens.

He has a lot of work in Spaghetti Westerns and is considered as one of the best but to be honest, other than The Good, Bad, Ugly, I don't remember much of his work.

Yet, John Williams started winning when the world was less political. It isn't because of who he knows that he's received as many awards as he has. The man is a BRILLIANT composer who's work speaks for itself.
