@ScorchinBeats It has level adjusts for both Bass and Treble. You can dial in how much you want. He simply has his Treble set too high for your taste, that's all.

From this video (the quality isn't great so I can't get a clear picture) I don't like the BBE. It scoops too much and brings in too much treble.
