ive noticed that all the new thrash bands that are emerging nowadays are really generic and sometimes crappy. it's like they're all following the same formula. I can only think of like 6 really good ones. Mantic Ritual, Gamma Bomb, Toxic Holocaust, Warbringer, Violator, and these dudes.

its just like, everyones all THRASH IS BACK cause it seems like the "cool" thing to say. when some of these noobs kno nothing of the old school thrash, and what makes it awesome..they just go with the flow :/

anything that attracts a mass following for temporary periods or permanent time lapses is defined as a TREND. therfore, thrash is a trend. i have seen evidence that people seem to follow it to be a part of something. YES, i agree, thrash is music and WAY more cool than emo/screamo... however... most of these "thrashers" were the same kids who followed the scenes of the past from my experience.

look here. i do see kids walking around with deniem sleeve cut jackets and thrash shirts roaming the streets. as a matter of fact, now more than ever. i saw three yesterday. on top of that bands like bonded by blood and fueled by fire have only increased its popularity. these factors all contribute to creating a trend. a trend is only limited in its existance by its time lapse of popularity. i'm not saying thrash sucks, i'm just saying its very popular. any rebutes?

You do understand that dave mustain from Megadeth was in the band at the time seek and destroy was recorded? haha if you want to make any accusation as to metallica ripping megadeth off, it has to be Call of Ktulu because Dave Mustaine has to be given some credit for that song. As you can see Hangar 18 is like Call of Ktulu in the Intro only faster. Become a real "music" fan and you would be able to see that. Have a great day Ma'am :)
