No Joke: run LONG on the weekends (12-18 miles each Sat, about 2-3 months leading up...) and, run lots of hills.....Try and run at least one "triple" (three Dipseas) a couple weeks before the race.
What kind of training regimen would you recommend for anyone insane enough to try this event? Is it all stair climbing? For how many hours a day? I'm serious, this event seems insane.
