  • what song is this?

  • oooh! I should try rotoscoping like that..maybe if my patience holds out ^^

  • Great Job!

  • nice. what do u use to do it? flash?

  • love this flash.... 9 /10

approx how many frames u used?

    and how long to complete?

  • would someone please explain to me how to do this? really...i've heard you "Trace Film" ...but how so?

  • Most people use photoshop or some other digital media tool now. Otherwise you just trade each frame on paper and scan them all in sequence if you don't have digital media editing. This looks like it was either shopped or after effects.

  • The lines are so precise--it is amazing. Love it.

  • whats the track called?

  • Definitely a Jose Gonzalez track im pretty sure of that

  • nooo...its a Pinback song...im pretty sure the song is called Loro...not fully sure...but PRETTY sure is okay, cause all their songs are good anywaysyshosos!

  • no, its sumthing else....

  • wow

  • Very soothing. I like it.

  • lol....testicles

  • whats rotoscoping? im very curious to know ^__^ and i love the smoothness of the flim and also its nice not haveing a head on your person..cuase your more focused on the juggling ^__^

  • Rotoscoping is when you take live film, and trace over it with pencil on a computer (whatever you choose) frame by frame.

  • owsome ........ !

  • Very nicely done!

The animation is smooth, which I admire for Rotoscoping concider most artists tend to go for that "sketchy" look

(not that I mind that at all, I prefer it when I'm doing animation, accutally).

    Great job!

  • Dont want to spoil peoples illusions , but the lead ball in the mills mess should have been carried to cross the hands.Nice film and idea though , just needs a little tweaking.Sorry if i seem rude just had to point it out, sorry.

  • haha, here's the thing - it's rotoscoped from a video of me. I can't do the mills mess. I've been working on it, but I'd rather consider myself an animator before a juggler.

  • What tool did u use in flash to draw? Bezier curves or freehand pencil?

  • Bezier Curves

  • lol me too we have a alot in common :P what programme did you use for this??

  • Flash

  • get a life will you, it's about the animation not the friggin juggling pattern.

  • Technicaly, very very good. Subject matter is also very interesting. But, something, somehow, just makes me keep thinking to myself "Gay".

  • and something about this comment makes me think to myself.. idiot.

  • Are you talking to me ? Do you want a fight ??

  • wow, nice!

  • uhmm....something wrong at 0:40

  • its cool but for some reason its feels wrong.....

  • lmao

  • hi i loved your work we are an un sign band with not much money to spend on a video can you make us a video like this i think its gonna be very cool thanks

  • Wow... this person sure does like to play with balls...

  • dat was sweet!... ehhr... im disapointd doe... coz i was xpctng sumfing 2 hapen at d end...

  • me too, lol

  • Oddly mesmerizing. XD Well done.

  • what program did you use to do this. I really want to try rotoscoping.

  • Flash. I think Flash 8.

  • very cool... and pinback (or thingy) kicks ass!

  • It's googd!

  • sweet

  • And the Ripped Ones say goodbye,

    While the others meet.

    Attached somewhere.

    At least they're shared.

Song is Loro by the band Pinback

  • Love the music. Can anyone tell me what it is and who by?

  • I love this! Have you considered doing some shading on the balls? This would give them a rounder, sphere look, rather than just circles to represent the balls. Nice to see real film rotoscoping. I believe the first rotoscoping was in the Betty Boop cartoon called Snow White. Cab Calloway was filmed dancing & singing St. James Infirmary, he even moonwalks!

  • thats what she said

  • What's the song?

  • Finally, a rotoscoping video that actually IS rotoscoping. very nice work.

  • Loved the boil effect with the balls.

  • I did a rotoscope in class...it came out pretty cool. Not as cool as this though. I didn't have much time. a month and a half...and alot of that was working on other projects as well.

  • wow your too good.

  • it was traced frame by frame from film (that's what rotoscoping is - animation over film) ...it took a while I honestly don't remember how long though

  • Awesome, and the music was great. I'm working on a rotoscope in Flash for an animation class as well.

  • what did you use to do the rotoscoping?

  • Flash

  • heh. thats kinda cool. so you animated it using flash for motions and such?

  • I'm personal friends with Pinback

  • thats dam good. How did you get such clean lines?

  • great job! Awesome Song as well. Pinback is the bomb. I think we would get along. Are you going to pursue more rotoscoping techniques or have you moved on to other mediums?

  • the class I did this for was pretty much the first animating I've ever done. We explored a few mediums and techniques, I like the look and feel of rotoscoping the most though.. I'm working on another right now.

  • thats gorgeous.... very clean lines, without that quivering that most roto has....
