When Day9 refers to the "last bucket" and making a plan for the whole game he is paraphrasing Sun Tsu in the "Art of War": A force should have a tactical objective and should not be distracted from it despite opperational development. What that means is that the corner stone of all military strategy does apply to Starcraft 2. Look up the "Art of War" on the net, it might give you some help getting to that last bucket.

ya i luv forcefields, but if enemy has too many sentrys he will die. and try to push them BEFORE they get colossi.

if u play zerg u could get som roaches. with burrow they can run under the fields. or get about 2 thors. put them in front and they will step on ffields and kill em :)

in my mind terran are also op. like the marauder. countering EVERY warpgate unit

I think Day9 just touched on an important life lesson around 6:00. A lot of our beliefs about what works and what doesn't work in life are formed by seeing them work or by being told them over and over by authority figures. When the situation calls for something different the types of people who relied on old methods will lose out. It is just as important in life as it is in Starcraft to be open minded enough to consider things we hadn't before and not grow too rigid in our thinking.
