My girlfriend discovered her through NPR and introduced me. As a mandolin player and a guitarist, I struggle to make music this beautiful. I would love to see her live and talk to her afterwards. She's an extremely talented musician and songwriter, and I'll be listening to her music regularly, as I wait for a chance to stand in front of her while she plays. If you check yourself out on YouTube Sarah...keep writing. Keep playing. You're wonderful. ; )

I wholeheartedly endorse the support of this incredibly talented young woman and others in her peer group. I bought SJ's album right after hearing her on NPR's APHC in September '09. I drove 350 miles to see her perform in Cambridge @ Lizard Lounge in November. She's a true musical genius and a highly talented instrumentalist. Her compositions are mature, sophisticated, and years beyond her age (18 in 2009). I absolutely adore her and will hopefully see her some more in 2010.
