  • Hi MiaRossa, thank you so much for putting these beautiful cartoons on yr page. Absolute true Russian wit that this cartoon is most remembered for. Makes me think of my Motherland with very fond memories. Especially well done for doing (such a great) English translation because it means my boyfriend (who doesn't speak Russian) can at last share some of the amazing Soviet cartoon humor that I can't translate that well at all.

I do you have any Prostokvasheno on youtube? that would be amazing!

  • This is fantastic! Thank you so much for posting this and endless thanks for the subtitles. We used to watch this in Syria (with Arabic dubbing); a fellow socialist country with its own "pioneers". It's so much nicer in Russian. I cannot stop watching it. It is sooooo cute. Have you managed to finish the subtitles for the rest of the 1st film? I couldn't find it on You Tube. Again, thank you so much.

  • @kirrosh yeahhh damn right , i remember those days when Syrian tv used to broadcast those ..maybe in 1990s or so ... as far as i remember they were with arabic subtitles .. every Friday , it was called "aflam al murahqeen" :))) ...so lovely times ..

  • This is so beautiful!!! Thanks, MiaRossa. Greetings from Mexico!

  • thanks, thanks, thanks, for this beautiful gift. With tears in my eyes and joy in my heart.

  • this is my favorite. its so touching! it breaks my heart how mean pioneers can be
