The main Brooklands road was resurfaced, the original water drainholes have been cleared out now, its main car park restructured, the reasource centre has an extension, a new MUGA pitch behind it, and now a new green play park and open space on where the old Brooklands club once stood.
There is NO money or funding for the roads as they are privately owned, but if each household put in say £10,000 of there own money, they would be done,
do they do it, no, is the realtime answer, so they stay.
wow i had a shock 2find loads of homes in elvis and brooklands with smashed out windows.the walkways are a mess and homes are trashed.why has cctv been put up yet all this gos on.how come police let this happen.why are the gangs not got a asbo 2leave jaywick?.

Jaywick is worth fighting for. Jaywick people can turn it around, but not by listening to the men in suits but by doing it themselves and forgetting the laws and the landlords which are feeding off us.
Spent some good times on holiday at Jaywick in the late 70's early 80's, that brought back some memories it's just a shame to see that not much (anything?) has been done to improve the place since i was last there.
