I've been to mardi gras a few times, and had fun i guess? As an adult i see this as pointless. I have had beer spilled on me, i've been threatened with a needle, we had to scatter from gun shots, I had trouble getting my car out. It was chaos. It's probably fun for those who want to get out and blow off steam, act crazy, etc. For me, i just don't get anything out of it. Beads, drunks, violence. I'll skip it.
