@SagDec15 It was using two mirrors at each side and the camera I used for the painting was a HD webcam, so I used my laptop to see also. I'm also very skinny so can turn to see a certain extent.

@landrytay2 thanks very much. It was so hard to start with, similar to if you start trying to type with your keyboard the wrong way round. But once you get used to the opposite directions and limited vision, it's just as easy as painting on a normal canvas. Try it!
