  • @Imsjr Thanks for the review, im getting this! :)

  • im rhythm guitarist in my band and i really love the ultra 1 setting i feel it has a slightly warmer tone to it which i love! :D

  • In Chile this pedal cost around 50 or 60 bucks, and the Boss Ds-2 is around 140 -.- It's son unfair..

  • this sucks it shuts down by it self after a lil use and the sound thing is broken on it

  • @swishsplash try to use an ac/dc adapter with it...

  • hmmm nice will it sound good with a fender squier bullet strat

  • what is the best amp that can give that kind of sound with that pedal?

  • Say me what you play, I bought a BOSS OverDrive Disortion OS-2 but I dont know what to play, Please help me!

  • this pedal belongs in the trash. it should never have been approved for manufacture...

  • can i play songs by nirvana with this pedal?

  • @NegativeCreep06 No, the manual says it is disallowed.

  • The Behringer drive and distortion pedals are good enough to begin and even to keep for a time. But run away from their CHORUSES, FLANGERS and others alike. I bought an UF100 and returned it in a couple of days. It fuzzied the tone if you used the 1st 2 knobs. Awful. I gave it a little more and bought a more classic sounding HF1 from Brazilian Onerr. No regrets. : )

  • I am a Punk Rocker so I need good distortion, I'll use 2 pedals of distortion, one of them will be this one

  • I have one of those, don't buy it. Save for a better quality dist. pedal at like £80.

  • wouild this be good to play rock with???

  • behringer produce a nice copy, but lack of durability. I owned a UM100 for about a year or two, then its broken. a friend of mine bought UM300, used for about a year, then his also broken.

  • tried a few behringers distortions...they lack bite /attack on the note....no pinch with these im afraid. just mushy hi gain, no definition... ymmv

  • Why don't you do a blast with everything up FULL?? Why isn't that the first & last thing you do???

  • Bullshit! Rhythm guitar on Ultra 2!!!

  • i fucking love this pedal!!!!

    tanks for the video!!!

  • UD100 / UD300? Google and Behringer site knows anything about UD300. Do U?

  • I am a big fan of Behringer and Bugera (Behringer's tube amps). They are inexpensive, well built (I have several pieces of their gear and have never had a problem), and they sound good. You can't ask for anything more.

  • I guess somebody got some new gear send by behringer :)

  • Wow, that pedal should be called "Ass in a pedal". Thanks for the review TK, but that pedal is HORRIBLE.

  • sometimes i wish you could double subscribe:P

  • Cool video !!!! i use the compressor sustainer and the Pre amp simulator and i can say that they are great !!!!!!!!!!!! cheers = ) !!!

  • How do you spell fail??.... BEHRINGER!!

  • is this "good" ? compared to boss or digitech ?

  • @Kristianeb jess, diss iss verry gud kåmmperd tu båss an diggitek

  • @SpectraNorway åo kei... dats avsåmm.. i vill talk tu ju @ skool

  • have you tried re-amping direct input from these pedals through a cab impulse? Might be more representative of the sound.

    Also - AXE FX!

  • does behringer make pedals with metal cases or are they all plastic?

  • Another kickass product demo TTK. :) I'm a rhythm guitarist, and I have to agree with Mo7, Ultra II is better than the Ultra I setting. Any chance you could demo this with an ENGL Fireball 100 E635, or would it hamper the ENGL's tone?

  • i love your videos man and i kno this has nothing to do with behringer but what is your favourite guitar company?

  • Hey Tone King, great sounding pedal! I was wondering, can you do a review on the AM400 Ultra Acoustic Modeler pedal in Behringer's line? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on it. Might be nice to have a pedal that turns your electric into an acoustic.

  • I love bugera, but behringer pedals are awefull. I own the uv300 myself. Bad build quality and bad sound. If youre going for cheap pedals you should be looking at the danelectro cool cat pedals. True bypass and metal case and decent sound for around the same price as these behringers.

  • @haaspaas2 I don't know, I've found them to work quite well for my own personal needs. The only pedal I have that's not Behringer is a Hardwire (Digitech) TL-2 Metal pedal. I have 4 Behringer pedals that work well, but I'm not as picky (seeing as I'm still refining my rig).

  • Both modes weren't too bad. Tho when the tone was pushed up all the way the top end was too harsh! about 1 o'clock sounded best.

  • Ultra 1 = crap

    Ultra 2 = so-so

  • ultra 1 is yuckie

I reallly like it on ultra 2 with everything at 12 oclock except when the tone knob was at 2 oclock, yummyy

  • @Mo7Vsta I agree with you Mo. I think when you have something w/ some mids in it - anything robbing the tone of those mids sounds empty. After listening to this clip, I'd agree with your assessment. Have a good weekend!

  • @lmsjr I get more pleasant sounds with my UD100 + Orange Crush 15R. While the pedal has a single tone knob, the amp has BASS, MIDS and TREBLE, and also REVERB. My guitar is a Brazilian-made strato with S3 single coil pickups. Maybe that´s why this one sounds so good... : )

  • @Mo7Vsta behringer multi effect processors are much better than the behringer individual effect pedals u should try .. V-Amp2 behring multi effect pedal or the new launch V-amp3 =D

  • love the prices of behringer pedals. All of them are like $30 bucks each.

  • @ItzAmazingBrian I agree. Nothing comes close in feature / price. When i was growing up - Arion pedals were the affordable but good pedals to have. Behringer has not only taken over, but have reproduced pedals we're familiar with, which is killer for the starving musician (or anyone wanting to save bucks on gear)

  • @lmsjr

The Behringer pedals at less than 50 bucks are killer for the price

  • Ultra I - Shit

Ultra II - Love, much love.

  • i just got the Gus-600EC

    amazing

  • Behringer don't make Bugera, they just distribute them. Bugera is its own company

  • @nblax41 YES they do! They are made in the SAME factory in Shongshan China! I know, I am a Bugera Owner, and i LOVE My V55 very much!

  • i don't know ..thru my spkrs, it sounds like an angry mosquito trapped in a jelly jar....

    thanks for the review

  • @stymye yes indeed

  • Its cool that you review different grades of pedals. Hell my MXR Full Bore Metal costs half as much as my guitar lol. Its expensive but its gonna last for a long time. I need a guitar upgrade soon but I also need to get better first. Have you ever had any experience with the ESP LTD EX 401?

  • I can't seem to locate the ESP Gus G review anywhere. The only reason I ask is I recall that you didn't care too much for it. Considering your collection, I'm suprised you still own it, let alone still play it. And these pedals are NOT TTK worthy. Going from the VOX Ice 9 you reviewed to the Behringer UD100 is like going from a race horse to Elsie the Cow! I understand that you feel obligated to review them all so the poor folks can play rock star, but you've developed an astute following. \m/

  • @smacman68 hey smac - thx for the note. I removed the old Gus G review, simply b/c I tore into them VERY hard, mostly b/c I was pissed of the playability of the 200. After much though (and trying to be a leader in unbiased reviews), I gave the 200 review a 2nd thought, and pulled it. I have since upgraded to the Gus600, and it's a smoking hot axe. A sure shot attention getter, that looks and plays hot.

  • @lmsjr I thought it looked different! That is a smoking axe. I made the same mistake with the ESP Alexi Laiho. I bought the 200, which is the bottom end. When it arrived (you know the GREAT feeling of opening a new guitar) two of the frets were missing! They had fallen out during shipment and were laying in the bottom of the box. I felt like puking. In the end, ESP made it right and I own the top end Laiho "Blacky" model. Awesome instrument. I guess your right about the pedals. I'm just picky.

  • I thought it looked different! That is a smoking axe. I guess your right about the pedal and I'm not faulting you for reviewing them. It's just that when I go budget, I always end up disappointed and it collects dust in my storage box under my bed. On occasion, I will spot a diamond in the rough.

  • @smacman68 As for the Behringer pedals ... Aside from the fact that they're made out of plastic - I think they're a good value for what they are. Take a Behringer delay pedal - it's like 30 bucks. Another 'name brand' would be like 150. So - I like to cover both the expensive and the inexpensive stuff. Thx for the note on the astute following. Very flattering! As always brother, keep the comments rolling in. I greatly appreciate them. Have a great weekend, and rock on!

  • I thought you didn't like the Gus G. Signature. Why use it?

  • @danukenator123 I bought the 200, and was pissed b/c of it's playability. I have since upgraded to the 600 and it rocks. I LOVE the shape (if you remember, I bought the Ibanez DT350, b/c it looked like the GusG). So far - so good ... it's a rocking, badass axe.

  • MUH-DEE.

    Wow that's muddy.

  • hey ttk!

Almost all of your gear is give by the guitar companies our you buy your fantastic gear?

    thanks

  • pedal is awfull but you get what you pay for. I would buy a boss ds1 if you want a cheap legendary pedal. Have it modded by one of many co out thier and you have the best dist money can buy..........imo

  • hey whatever happened to the G 200 you first bought and it was horrible? i believe it was a blueish color?

  • Who's the best?!

    TTK is!!!

  • @DarkVelizar haha. Thx Dark!

  • @DarkVelizar haha -

    Thanks DarkVelizar!

  • Good demo but damn that pedal sounds horrible
