You're mistaken on it being the only video game based on a sketch, theres also "Little Britain" on the PS2 and the French version of Titus the Fox was based on some gag a French comedian made.
Yes, but I was kind of commenting on how hard it is to take a single short sketch and make a whole game out of it. It's not so absurd when you use a bunch of sketches and break it up like that. It is a very specific distinction, I know, but it's relevant to the problems of this game in particular.
but its a mini game collection, so they still made one game on each sketch.
If you can make a movie from a sketch (Wayne's World, Coneheads, its Pat! Ali G, Borat, Kevin & Perry Etc.) Sutrely it can't be that harder to do a game?
I have a few good ideas bouncing around, but I haven't had the time lately, since I also do this professionally and "just for fun" stuff like this has to take a back seat :/
Oh it wouldn't get anywhere near that, but it's better than the zero you get off Youtube anyway.
As for copyrighted music, I have the same problem on our TV shows, best thing to do is to stick to in-game music, theres some fantastic tracks out there and also adds to the whole visague. Plus the hardcore love guessing the tune!

Well Little Britain is a show, not a sketch. There were a few Monty Python games as well and such, but that's a little different.
Had no idea about Titus the Fox though. I always thought it was a dreadful series anyway.

Well its a sketch show and each level was based on a different sketch. so its a technicality.

Yeah, Revver bitches about my unlicensed use of music. Besides, I doubt it would add up to what I get doing stuff for my other clients.

Did you know there were plans for a Married with Children game on snes but was cancelled. We can only imagine how bad that could of been.
