I hope you remember to shut that throttle off when you crash. I see the spring as saftey deal for the gears, motors, splines, flybar attachment, and blades.
Normally, impact alone, doesn't phase these little heli's. Most damage occure's because the throttle is not shut down in time to stop the internal carnage in my opinion. Dennis.
Tell me anybody about the shitty tail motor . Wtf !!!! After 24 hrs and it started to get sluggish then stopped moving . How do I fix this issue . Better yet why did this happen ? I didn't crash it , I'm not a pro but it's my 3rd one .

@christopher9739 , same thing happened to me but it was because the two pegs that go out from the main shaft to hold the top rotor had broken off, got replacement inner shaft and its now sorted.
Just a suggestion, if you want to increase your flight time parallel two 3.7v battery's together, both battery's have to be new, solder all the red wire's together, solder all the black wire's together, do one set at a time, do not touch the red wire's with the black wire's on the battery's or you will short the battery's out. I have three Syma S107g helicopter's and this modification will definitely increase your flight time.
@addictedtodat69 This sounds like a good idea. I just ordered a new battery. It makes sense to use 2 new ones instead of one new & one old. I wonder what 3 will do?
@doversole The helicopter's battery is inside the helicopter, right under the hood. You need 6 AA batteries for the controller, though, which are not included.
i have a protocol tigerjet that looks EXACTLY LIKE THIS except it is yellow and it is by protocol. though if you look inside it it says S107RS. is mine the same quality as the syma s107 or is it a cheap imitation? p.s. it was 40 bucks at bestbuy
Thank you for uploading these videos. Funny you'd upload this one the day I start looking for RC helos, key in on the S107, and decide to look up reviews before buying it. I was also looking at a more powerful, slightly heavier battery for about $6 more that can extend the flight time to over 9 minutes. Keep on modding!

@GTOteamORdie Buy a new battery, you could probably get a battery two times stronger for about 2 dollars at xheli, but make sure it will fit.

LED's dont drain the battery......the 3 motors on the helicopter do.
The LED lights make it look cool I think.
Leave them there for flying in the evening with maybe a table light on.

The times with the LEDs would be maybe 10 sec diff then w/ out LEDs dint use very much batt life
