  • I liked it man. well played. I can feel it.

  • Well played but WTF is that crappy sound ??

  • You seem to be re-rooting the song back into the blues..whereas Hendrix was pretty far out there with it. He threw in micro rhythm changes, and transient fills like a drummer would do. Still once I heard the "Hey Joe " solo slowed down just a bit, it refers right back to that solid blues tradition. So Bravo on this.

  • there's no life in it.. but it's extremely well exectuted

  • My favorite Hendrix piece. Well done!

  • Ur too much alright bey.. u felt it pretty good

  • A little too much effect, but an excellent rendition, I know how hard it is trying to break down Hendrix's music, much praise..

  • Your cover of this tune is superb. Your own nuances make it your own. I have a long way to go to learn this tune. It's one of Hendrix's best songs and performances.

  • you've got a nice approach to this - you play it with feeling: well done!

  • Cool and nice paced.

  • very good played with a bit heart as well

  • congratulations

    Great cover

    RIP Jimi

  • I actually like the modern sounding distortion, what are you using to get the Leslie/rotating speaker effect or is that just delay and chorus?

  • goodshit

  • That was incredible! And that sound you made at 0:13 was awesome!

  • damn! your good man, but i want to know how you figured out how to play this, all the tabs dont look right to me. please answer! i really want to play this and its getting frustrating

  • hello thank you!

i worked just by listening and analysing with my hears and my heart what Jimi played. notab

  • how long have you been playing the guitar for?

  • fender starcaster haha

  • you know where i can get a tab for that. ive always wanted to learn that

  • yeah mec tropr fort ta version nickel et le phaser bien en place beau boulot vraiment c class surtout ton solo peace

  • this isn't a solo man, its a song called Villanova Junction.

the sound was way to grimy, you did a decent job though.

  • the first woodstock records said about this music " instrumental solo " which i suppose was the name Jimi told to the record company .. some years after the title was change in 'villanova junction' ... if someone has informations about it tell us ..

  • oh yeah, correct, I know what solo you're talking about. its about a 5 minute long Improvisation. after the solo finishes, he goes into this song that you're playing. which obviously isn't a solo, as it doesn't really display lead guitar as much as rhythm guitar

    search it on youtube

  • so , do you know if there is another hendrix recordings of that tune ?

  • there's two live versions on youtube.

    one at Woodstock, NY:

    watch?v=WWYgP7rbRa0

    one at Rainbow Bridge, Hawaii:

    watch?v=LYrrVQrCl3o

then there's a studio one, you can just search it and find it. it's nothing compared to the live ones though

  • Thanks , at woodstock it was the best version of the three !

  • awsome, quality could be better but still sounds great =]

  • thank you all !

  • so when are you gonna post some solo's /jam's of your own ? :P

  • Yeah. I wanna see a wicked improv from you dude.

  • ok guys next posts will be that :)

  • nicely done again !! :)

  • fantastic , well done. loved it

  • hey what do yuo think of telecasteers

  • AWESOME!
