That's sexist. Honestly, when a woman gets smacked with a frying pan, for instance, we sympathize for her and would not blame her, but if it is the man getting smacked we ask why he doesn't stop it. And what then? Get thrown in jail for hitting his wife? In many places in the world, stats show that when men are the primary victim in a home, they also get arrested because they tried to stop it. Men can't fight back.
@GJ3200 This was a 15 second PSA that I was hired to direct and produce. Yes, men get abused too, but that wasn't the point of this particular commercial.

He put the band-aid on the little girl's teddy bear because he knew she was being hurt too. They gave her the 'stand' book so she could stand up for herself. That's pretty much it.

@renardo3333 I know what you mean. 1 out of 4 women will be abused someway in their lifetimes, but 1 out of 7 men will be abused too. that's the thing about PSA. it's hard to educate people in a matter of one commercial,
What about when women abuse men and children. the double standard is so unbelievably frustrating.
