Looking at these pictures I think about London today in 2010. You have video cameras surveilling you, cameras that move and follow you. They have installed microphones now to hear what you say and loudspeakers to shout orders at you. In the free England they scan and eavesdrop every message you write and every phone call you make, and these bastard capitalist westerns are telling us what freedom is and that the there was not such in the USSR ? fuck EU and fuck US

Take ya pick :P I travelled in the USSR as a kid in the 80s, not the best time for them, but it wasn't like what we in the west were told, and my parents always said I would have been very much in my element in the Kruschev-era USSR, as an archaeologist or anthropologist - working to advance our cultural knowledge, regardless of whether or not it is *profitable*
