Something similar happened to me yesterday, I was driving around punta pacifica where Trump hotel is, and this traffic cop pulls me to the side and immediately starts bitching me out. Saying he is going to give me a ticket if he sees me park anywhere in his area, that he is not going to play games with me. Not even a hello, Here is my video i too recorded him, and ended up getting a ticket for something i did not do. All because i told him to not threaten me. I had all my papers in order.

It is very common here for police officers, taxi drivers and other people that offer services to take advantage of tourists by increasing their price.

The point is that last time a TV station broadcasted a video like this, reporters were taken to court and believe it or not the police is winning. Gustavo Perez Police Chief swears police in Panama is changing positive, what he can't see is that if high rank bosses continue to smash lower rank officer there will always be CORRUPTION in the police department. I can`t less than be ashamed and sorry for my country and for other cops who are honest and hard work to PROTECT AND SERVE.
