And goddamn can Nic Cage kick some seriosu ass or what! Not content with just letting that wounded Japanese soldier die of his wounds, Cage fucking pulls that Jap over, kicks the shit outta him, and pushes him in front of their own machine guns for the bastard to get mangled, then went and threw that satchel charge into the bunker in the nick of time, just as a big ass explosion knocks him off his feet.

Well they got the uniforms and gear right but I have yet to see a movei about Marines that actuall show's us as we realy are . But ya the action scenes of the movei just weren't that good . I'm hopeing the comeing show ''Pasific'' will finally do the Corps justice on the silver screen .

There are certin parts of a machine gun that get pretty damn hot duering fireing .They still use them to day .

its funny i was thinking the same thing, marines sort of randomly get slaughtered and no sympathy is shown but when the main characters get wounded/killed its supposed to be dramatic and heart felt
