The best part has to be starting at 6:50, when Rafa gets the huge check and just hands it to Novak like a piece of ordinary paper to get the trophy. And then the manager swoops in to make sure no one loses it! It never gets old haha.

I admit Novak grown up. He always threw out the racket and was retiring for foolish reasons. the family with a lot of problems. I did not like them. But, Nole finally won Fed by the USopun fourth year. Roger was not play of the best. But, wonderful victory. The movement of Nadal is overall annoying.The trophy is bitten like the child always. They are not perfect. They need not be overvalued. But, they are tennis stars. Fed or Nad or Delpo's generation. great competition.

Can anyone read the body language of Rafa's father in the Nadal box? After Novak congratulated Nadal and his team, the camara showed Nadal's box and Rafa's father had his arms crossed with no happy expression on his face and at the same moment a woman on the left a few people away looked over to her left at Rafa's father to see his response. Does it make you wonder that maybe Rafa's father may not like Novak for whatever reason?

Thanks, was trying to find the conclusion after ESPN2 switched to the pregame of Chargers (which btw they didn't even show the actual game of). Football went back to ESPN, it was only the ending of this tennis match to show a little pregame which they pre-empted. Don't even think it would have helped football fans because they would all be on ESPN not ESPN2 for the 5 min of pregame they carried on ESPN2... K, my vent is over now.

They dumped it to ESPN in a flash and then ESPN was ready to dump it to ESPN Classic. Very sad that tennis has sunk so far that CBS & ESPN would rather show reruns, much less bowling reruns from the1970's, instead.

I was furious last night when ESPN2 chose to cut away from Rafa's Career Slam triumph to mere *pre-game* football commentator chatter; it was one of the rudest things I have ever seen a sports channel do. Nadal completely deserved this victory and he's already achieved so much at his young age, he's truly and admirable player and person. As well as Novak who is always so gracious in victory or defeat, I also believe the next time Nole will win his second grand slam, God knows he deserves it. These two are the best sportsmen out there, so gentle and nice (federer too). Wish them the best!
