  • How is the latency on this interface?

  • Comment removed

  • HELLO, what about the latency?

only with the little guitar interface you reduces all the latency?

    Thanks.

  • Great video!! one question: the guitar pass by the ampli or it's directly connected on the interface Behringer??

thanks in advance my friend :)

  • How's the latency on these things? I'm planning to buy one. I just want to make sure that the latency (if any) would be bearable.

    Thanks! :)

  • It's very sheep.

  • @RebelAngel4321 sheep hahahahahahahahahaa

  • would this work with guitar rig 5 pro? cause i have guitar rig 5 pro but not the guitar rig kontrol and was hoping to get something a little less expensive cause i already payed 499 for the program itself :S

  • Oi, tudo bem? Obrigado

  • sounds pretty cool. I'm thinking of buying it but confused if it works with FLStudio and its VSTI

  • i have a marshall MG100DFX with an emulated out, can i plug my guitar into the amp and use the emulated out instead of the built in amps?

  • @99chrisjc You can, try using your loop effects with your pc or guitar>interface>amp (Here you can try input/line in/return fx, the input will change the sound even if it is in clean channel).

  • @kiraGuitarr oh ok..thanks!

  • Great playing man! I'm assuming you're a pro stud musician, if not you should be, I am just getting back into guitar playing after many years. When you are using software amps and effects, does the quality of the guitar and pickups matter? you probably have an expensive guitar but I want to go really cheap like squier bullet or epi Les paul 2. I only want to play through my PC not even planning to buy an amp. Do you think I can get same sound as you with a really cheap guitar??

  • @jazziboy11 Don't worry too much about the guitar and amp, trust me. I do have some expensive guitars, but I could do the same with an epi or a squier, better stiil a yamaha pacifica wich is the next guitar I want to buy, the cheapest model ;) They sound superb, grab one if you can :) Worry about playing first. Even if you had my gear you would still sound different ;)

    Cheers

  • @juca2929 OK, so if I understand coorectly, you are saying that in an amp simulator, once you apply the effects, every guitar/pickup will sound the same, no matter the quality of the wood/pickups etc.? Is this right?

So I should focus more on comfort and playability if I am mainly using amp simulator sounds/ thanks

  • @jazziboy11 Nope..LOL Every guitar will sound different. I was just saying for you to focus more in playing than the rest, whatever your using. Then if you can purchase better tools it's cool. But like I said a cheap guitar in the proper hands will sound good :) The guitars that you and I mentioned are a perfect exemple to start again.

  • This is what i've been looking for! I'm going to the store to get it :)

  • I´ve got the same, but i have a delay about 1 sec from my guitar to my pc...-.-

  • Thanks!

  • Low Budget and u have a mac pro ... anyways ...

    World have changed ...

  • @MrRvTx Hi, yes the world is changing every second, and so is economy and so is global crisis. And almost everyone is affected. I am, sadly. It's a fact.

  • @MrRvTx yes low budget, regular studio! in others video he play a gibson, 2 mac!...anyways

  • @MrTronino I don't envy people that has a lot more gear than I do. Plus I worked hard to get what I have. And as I said before I'm not rich.

    Cheers

  • here comes the sun.....

  • Nice video :)

Estou a pensar comprar agora no natal. Obrigado

  • i have to own that guitar link

  • Hey Juca, nice video... I was hopping if you can help me. I bought an UCG102 and I'm using it on a MacBook Air, I didn't have any problems on using it on the Garage Band, but I just can't play with the Native AMPs. On the preferences view I don't see the "BEHRINGER USB Audio Device" as shown on the manual. Could you help me? Thanks!

  • Hey man, First of all I like your video(: But I have one question, Does this Guitar Link also work for Bass Guitar? I'm a bass player and want to upload my own videos but I'm not so sure how to and this cough my attention >.<

  • Will this item work with overloud TH2 and Peavey Revalver Mk.III.V software?

  • man, sorry for the amateur question, but is it possible to connect like this:

guitar > effect pedal >ucg102> pc?

  • @abfaria83 yes, I do it.

  • doesn't use asio drivers ?

  • does this work on windows 7 without problems ?.. Someone said to me that these usb adapters work only on macs well

  • I couldnt get real time audio from guitar, any suggestions please?

  • you're really good!

  • wts da thing betwee the behringer and speaker??

  • how are you recording the sound of the guitar playing in the video? is it with the camera sound or are you recording direct input?

  • Can anyone please let me know if you need a monitor to use with the interface. Is it necessary to have a monitor, not the computer monitor screen but the speaker monitor(i believe thats what they call it) live amps or w.e. Any help would be appreciated

  • @reaperofgenocide You can listen with headphones.

  • @BlurnGanston Thanks. Much appreciated.

  • @Ottsworth i too kkk

  • Parabéns , interessante demonstração do Interface Behringer.

    Cumpts

  • youre an awesome player! reminds me of carlos santana

  • +1 for Metheny backing! :)

  • do czego ta skrzynka z góry dzięki za podpowiedz

  • Legal.

  • grande bochita!

  • Grande musico.

  • Skip to 3:40 for the demo

  • hey, what channel did you use on the behringer driver for input and output.I have problem when i want to pan audio track in my DAW(cubase).i think it have something to do with this behringer setting.

  • How good is this product compared to other cheaper ones?

  • I almost bought one of these, I decided to buy a £10 USB external sound card instead (I already have an internal PCI soundcard) I use the internal card for everyday sound and backing tracks and the external soundcard i use for guitar.

The sound is excellent, probably because the external card is 7.1 surround sound and is more of a dedicated sound than a simple guitar adapter. There is no conflict between the onboard and external sound either.

My last 2 uploads were using this technique.

  • @7byseven That is good, but 7.1 is more used for movies, cinema stuff...

    Cheers

  • @juca2929 I dont actually use the surround feature, I just mentioned that so people now what kind of soundcard it is. Its a "Gstar UB 003" to be exact. I was about to spend more money on the gadget you have but realised I could use this Gstar in conjunction with the internal soundcard without conflicts and it sound like the nuts, assuming you have a decent pair of speakers obliviously. Its a better sound than just using the internal card.

  • @juca2929 actually there's 3D music now-a-day's, not much of it yet, but i believe 346362.1 is the future.

Can't you just go with the flow and fucking imagine all those wonderfull speakers around you?!! DUDE FUCKING IMAGINE IT! ITS HEAVEN!

Lol, i'm joking but seriously it has to stop at 7.1 becouse i just dont have any space left to put the speakers, at 9.1 you probally have to put 2 on your shoulders? lol. STOP IT MAKE IT STOP!! OMG!! 7.1 IS ENOUGH! its japanese scam to sell speakers, ROFL!

  • @7byseven Please show the link to the item you bought please :)

  • @RagerTager It wont let me post a link, i will send to you in a PM.

  • @7byseven Do you run it through a program like amplitube or garageband. something of that nature?

  • Im Buying this online How good is it.

  • What preset are you using? its just perfect !

  • @juanmaper Hi, I don't remember, but I think it was a Vox with some distortion pedal. It was done very fast...

    Cheers

  • @juca2929 Deep vox? dream vox? is a Guitar Rig preset right? Thanks

  • @juanmaper Hi, sorry but I really can't remember...:(

    Cheers mate :)

  • hello.. if using this interface.. do we need use asio4all ???

  • @ReinRockz no the beringer has asio drivers and there better than asio4all

  • @who8allthepies ok.. i think i'll get this... maybe the uca222 one.. thx u btw

  • einRockz if your not stretched for cash check out the line6 pod studio ux1 its 24/96 recording and has low latency also the new m-audio fast track usb are exc as it has a direct monitoring switch .

  • @who8allthepies firstly i'm interested on m-audio fast track.. but when i looked up on it's review in some youtube channel seems that fast track has an issue that it's can't record in stereo mode, only in mono...

line6 pod studio ux1 is very cool.. but sadly it's too expensive for me :(

  • @ReinRockz i am not sure about audio issues of stereo in the fast track maybe it was on the old fast track as there is a mk2 version with the control knobs at the top. my advice is, if your only doing basic recording, and dont need multi in/outs etc go the beringer . not sure if the uca222has a 1/4 inch jack input for guitar.

  • Boas!

  • Please one question, is this good to record my own songs? can i plug a microphone instead the guitar to record vocals?? thank you!

  • @tanukitejon Hi, you can plug a Mic, but it was not design for that. The only input is a 1/4" Jack for guitar and bass. But it's good to record anyway. Just get a cable with XLR in one side and regular jack on the other :) Good luck

    Cheers

  • what kind of sound card do you use; are you using the default that brings the computer? please answer, by the way awesome guitar player.

  • @gellotriple7 In this case my soundcard is just the Behringer, for everything. I do you use another soundcard, but that's on the iMac. Many thanks!!!

    Cheers

  • Can you send me the backing track please.

You are a great guitarist, so much passion and full of skill. Great playing, keep it up

  • @DANnJORDAN Hi, sorry I don't longer have it. But it's really not a backing track, its a song by David Bowie called "This is not America" if I'm correct, but without vocals on it. Search the web ;)

    Cheers

  • @juca2929

what is the name of the song you played thO, it was Amazing, I WANT TO LEARN IT.

  • ou vc é brasileiro ?

  • @brunodk11 Português :)

  • so how are you getting the guitar to actually play the sound - is it coming from your speakers? and if so how do you connect your speakers up?

  • @xKonnajbx Hi, yes I hooked up some small JBL desktop speakers to the output of the device. They sound great.

  • Have you had any issues with latency when activating multiple software effects like the delay?

  • @bigblockelectra No latency until now, do u have?

  • @juca2929 I do not own an interface, so I can't comment on latency...I have a pretty fast computer so I don't think it will be an issue. I am trying to select one for purchase. I may get something a little more expensive than this one because I would like to have a MIDI in/out

  • @bigblockelectra See stuff from M-Audio, the new MBox 3, and other's.

  • @bigblockelectra if u have latency problems try hitting the record button then hit it again.... usually that will fix it...... or make sure in ur preferences in garageband under audio/MIDI that optimize for is set to minimum delay when playing instruments live...

  • hi there..can we connect this device from the output of guitar effects?..im planning to buy one of this product..

  • @hairil786 Hi, I dind't understand your question. Be more specific please, ok? :)

    Cheers

  • @juca2929 hello..im using toneworks Ax5G guitar pedals..can we use this usb device to connect to PC from the output of guitar pedals..

  • @hairil786 Yes you can. I assume that Toneworks has the option to give you a dedicated emulated sound output. Some pedals and most pedalboards have that, an emulated output. Imagine this, I could connect one of my Boss pedals like the distortion to my soundcard, but the sound would be terrible.

    Cheers

  • @juca2929 great..thanks dude!!...

  • Good work :)

i have the ac box combo from native instruments and it works

but when i record and save this track, and after that i want to play it on windows media player, i hear the dry sound , also not the effects of the virtuel amp

    I'm sure, you can help

Good luck for answer this question :)

  • @BrickedGuitar Where do you record the track? also, how do you export it?

    Cheers

  • @juca2929

i record it with ac boox combo and with the behringer UCG102 of course(the same like a usb guitar)

in the pack are audacity, too, but i dont know, how i connect ac box combo and audacity^^

  • @BrickedGuitar Well, I never tried that... Mac or Pc? Audacity has plugins, and is has to assume the AC Combo. Do you access the plugin from Audacity? Seems like a problem in exporting the file...

    Cheers

  • @juca2929

    ich have a windows vista(pc)

no i dont try, where i can find the plugins on audacity?

i know, how to export in wmv, mp3 and so on in audacity

but i dont know how, i can assume ac combo with auacity

  • @BrickedGuitar On the Menu bar on the top of Audacity, there's a section called effects or plugins if I'm not mistaken. From there you should be able to engage the AC combo and visualize it.

    Try that.

    Cheers

  • @juca2929 sry, have not this option, i have effects but there is all grey, and nothing called anything like ac combo :(

  • @BrickedGuitar I have an idea, send me a message and we will sort things out. The menu is only grey when nothing is selected, like a waveform. Even so, its weird.

    Cheers

  • dude ur rly good @ guitar

  • Grande "Estudio" ! :D Gostei...

  • so i tink you need a gud guitar to get a gud sound quality right. because mine is probably a fake japanese brand and i use guitar rig. there's too much feedback. any tips on how to reduce it in distortion? and make no buzzing noise when im not playing? thank you =)

  • @R3Ap3r31 Well, most likely to be the guitar the source of your problems...lol. What kind of guitar is it anyway? any pic?

    Cheers :)

  • @juca2929 hmm yea i guess so, i worked out the buzzing noise my reducing the recording volume, now its just the latency. do you know how to complete reduce it because in ur videos it seems to be completely gone. i have guitar rig and the delay is just about a mili-second but its still annoying. i'll try garage band though... maybe it might make a difference.

  • @R3Ap3r31 Latency is a big issue. In order to help you better PM me with more details, computer specs, cables, etc, okay?

    Cheers

  • Thanks for your test man. I like it! Good job!

  • Comment removed

  • hi jucca. i think i could use some help here. i bought this advice a couple weeks ago but doesnt matter what i do, i cant get latency lower than 27ms otherwise very disturbing sounds occur in about 2-3 minute intervalls. totally annoying. i dont use mac but win though. i use asio as driver which i downloaded at the beringer hp because the one in the delivered box was not compatible with win7 64bit...can u still help?? thanks in advance! keep up the good work! cheers ;-)

  • @truemod1 Simple answer. Driver is not 64bit compatible. And all asio drivers out there are not going to help you much. You should run the system at 32 bits, there's not much difference yet, because almost all software is still 32bit. You would need a fully 64bit machine and all software running at 64bit aswell.

    Cheers

  • pagaste quanto nela?

    nos EUA pagam 20 dolares..

da pra gravar com ela no cubase?

  • @Roberto666guitar Paguei 49 Euros. 20 Dollars???? Muto barato mesmo!!! lol

Sim, dá no cubase.

  • what song were u playing

  • @ZAMtech1994 Thats a song from David Bowie :)

    Cheers

  • @juca2929 ,CAN You tell us the name of the song plz.

  • Thanks for the video. You just helped me figure something out.

  • okay you need to help me. I have nothing right now. Just an electric guitar. A guitar cable. and an amp. If I buy this device, will I get the same clear recording of my guitar in my computer like yours? even if my computer sound card is very bad?

  • @qaipak1 Yes you will have great quality! Only if yur computer's card is very bad..lol

What's your setup? PM me if you need more help :)

    Cheers

  • thank you for the video... it helped me start my own garage studio.. will try this on my bass guitar.. GREETING FROM THE Philippines..

  • lol small budget and u have like 4 macs. nice

  • @gugabool1 Well, if I was rich I would have more Mac's..lol. I really love them :)

    Cheers

  • Man thats a really nice guitar i really want it now !!!

  • Great song! Whats this?

  • Hey, thanks for replay so fast. I have the same guitar link you are using in your video and the same amps software. My macbook pro is a 13 inches one. The guit link is working great with the garageband software but not with the amps native software. By the way, when I set the preferences in the amps software, it does not shows a "Behringer" controler just a "core something one".

  • @pabcos Hi, yes it appears as some "core"...Not Behringer...but as long as it works :)

I remember you have 3 packs to choose from, but you can only activate one if I'm not mistaken. I activated that with the Vox amp. Its more than enough and it works great. So, you're not getting any sound from the plugin inside GarageBand?

    Cheers

  • @juca2929 Hi Some info. I have windows7 & found this driver wich works brill

ASIO4ALL v2 Universal ASIO Driver For WDM Audio.

I also found out that when the 30 day trial runs out for the 3 combos. just delete them leave the ASIO driver on . then reload. yep you get another 30days.

I have been doing this for the last 4 years since I bought it

    lol.

  • @protarget1 I knew that ;))

    Cheers mate!

  • I connected my USB link to my Mac book pro but I am not obtaining any sound, what can I do. By the way my USB works perfectly in my PC. Please help!!

  • @pabcos That's weird...More info please :) What software? What MacBook model? send me a message, ok?

    Cheers

  • @pabcos Pm me so I can help you :)

    Cheers

  • Just wanted to say a massive thank-you for posting this vid. I wasn't really sure how to go about getting my guitar hooked up to my PC. You covered absolutely everything and the demo was amazing - you are an awesome player!

  • @cgavin1 Many Thanks, I'm glad to help :)

  • this demo is basicly what i needed. i'm ordering one now. then if i get good i can get better equipment. thanks

  • @buzzxyx You're welcome, cheers

  • can i use a software like audacity to record with this..?

  • @jpjdo1212 Of course, any software will do ;)

    Cheers
