anyone know which panel it comes? panel type 1 is the bad screen and 2 is the good screen this is the only thing thats holding me back from picking up this phone
Panache has slightly better hardware than Nexus S, but Nexus S comes unlocked with a much better screen (bigger and super Amoled, means amazing colours and contrast, blacks are actually black, great viewing angles and visibility in the sunlight). HTC has sense, so if your a fan of HTC phones then youll like it. Nexus S comes with un-modded android, as google intends it, before companies like HTC and Samsung modify it.
I was contemplating getting a Nexus S but wound up with the HTC Panache. I think I made a smart decision as the phone is fast, sleek and quite powerful.
@VvLOGiKvV I think if you stay within GTA area, you should be fine. My friends on mobilicity and they LOVE it. I had a chance to use it because i didn't have unlimited. I was talking on it for 45 minutes and there was obviously no dropped call, and the call quality was excellent. On par with my current telus subscription. I'm thinking of switching when my contract is over.
If you ask SamSUX fan's they will say Nexus S is better but as we all know it Google always is 6months behind the current standard and NS is no exception. Now I am not saying it because I had HTC Glacier (myTouch 4G) aka HTC Panache for 7months or so. At this point if you want single core MT4G (GSM) or TB (CMDA) is the only phone to pick from. NS is obsolete as other failed POS SamSUX always push like that "new" Vibrant 4G aka same ol' Vibrant.
@AsakuraYoh58 I personally prefer the panache, however both phones are recommended. One thing i like about the panache better than the nexus s is the expandable memory and the HTC sense.
@mobisvs hey man, I just got the HTC panache and I can't view anything in the sunlight. Are all the phones like that, and if I was to buy a screen protector would that help out the problem?
@erichau728 its a SuperLCD 3.8-inch 800x480 capacitive touchscreen, and the exact viewing angle im not sure but myself using it the viewing angle doesnt washout even at extreme angles
lol i couldnt stop laughing when u dropped it!

What do you think of Mobilicity?
I've been reading reviews and there're a lot of unhappy people...

@VvLOGiKvV It's good. I like it (GTA)

@VvLOGiKvV That's because they're only the best in dense cities and sub-urbs are more for "on the street" coverage.

Can you please tell me how the ringtone sounds on the panache? I like a phone with nice speakers.
