Check out their address (from 5:01) -- they're in WAPWALLOPEN! The town must be named after his disciplinary method. Couldn't be a more perfect location for this 'ministry.' No doubt there's plenty of wap-wallopin' going on around there.
Please do not listen to Tedd Tripp or read his books. He advocates hitting infants as young as 8 months old. Just because he is a Christian does not make him right.
In hebrews 12 there is a comparison being done between the carnal chastining of our flesh by our earthly fathers and the spiritual chastisment by our heavenly father. In verse 10 we see that the only one between the two that is profitable to the ones receiving it is that which comes from GOd. That which comes from our earthly fathers is not profitable to us but instead is done only to feed the pleasures of those that inflict it. This only "seems right to them" prov. 14:12
3:21 " i guess now what is most compellingis to know our children are watching us,and learning from our actions......wow mommy hits me to get her way i think i will start to hit to get my way.
You should be informed that the majority of Peace Christians (Mennonites, Amish, Brethren, etc.) spank our children. Yet we are against real violence.

Saloman seen no imaginary line between C.P. and child abuse. this is why there are no regulation to how to "beat them in proverbs. these beatings back then were so server that the next step was to stone the child to death if they still didnt obey Deut 21 18-21 saloman didnt see an age that C.P. was no longer appropriet. THe bible makes record of saloman chastising the adults in his kindom with whipps.
What child abuse? If you would just listen and not just follow blindly you might learn something. Maybe it is Christ and the Christian message that offends you. I know that when I am training my children in the way THEY should go I am a much better parent then I am without God. Thank YOU Ted Tripp.
I believe that the rod in Proverbs is figurative & talks of pointing to lessons on a wall ie. teaching. The OT said an eye for an eye but Jesus said love your enemies & turn the other cheek. That is the Christian message for today. If it is worng to hit your pet or your spouse, it is wrong to hit your child as a child is a person too.Jesus showed a great love for children & wants us to teach them, not hit them.FOLLOW JESUS-NOT TRADITION! Kindness is like snow,it beautifies everything it touches.
World- kindness is not a heretic. The rod in Proverbs is figurative and refers to pointing out lessons on a wall. This is a very common way that Hebrew expresses itself. A Jewish Rabbi who understands OT Hebrew and Jewish Customs has verified this. In Israel where the Sabbath is faithfully observed, corporal punishment is against the law at home and in schools. Hitting children can cause injuries. When we know the danger involved, we must avoid it. That's a Christian responsibility.

WARNING TO ALL! Do not follow this man. Don't be taken in by the smiling faces in this video. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He promotes legalized child abuse and calls it spanking. He is no friend of children's rights. If he hit any child with a foreign object or a child under 2 or over 12 in Canada, he would be comitting a Criminal Offence. If you get in trouble with the law, he will not be there for you. BOYCOTT HIS EVIL SEMINARS! Grace based discipline is alive and well-FOLLOW IT!
I hope trolls like showingkindness are shown mercy by God for ignorantly calling biblical teachers like Tripp a "wolf in sheep's clothing." Apparently, showingkindness has a skewed understanding of the OT and the NT...yeah, the entire bible. When showingkindness blurbs about "grace based discipline," s/he admits the OT has no grace, which is an uneducated comment. There IS grace in the Old Testament...when you study it correctly.
The Jews who follow the OT do not use it to promote spanking. In Israel where the Sabbath is still faithfully observed, corporal punishment of children is illegal. Yes the OT does teach grace. Abraham believed and he was counted as being right in the sight of God.The problem with people like Ted Tripp is the fact that they have tunnel vision when it comes to Biblical interpretation and refuse to consider any alternative ways based on new discoveries and enlightened understanding.
Hitting children can cause bruises. Do you really want to put bruises on your child's body?
