"free trade" is not what we want... "fair trade" is. China is ripping off America. The way I see is, China is peddling "economic cracks" with cheap / bad products into US market. The more we buy from "made in china", the more we destroy our own economy.

You need to go back to school, China is a fight your president can't win. Wait until they quit buying us treasuries for good.........and yes they will!

idahotanj - I'm not sure what you mean by "go back to school"...but...also if the Chinese stop buying gov't debt, or interest rates spike, reducing our spending and killing their exports. Do you really think they are interested in that?

I think it is like up and down in stock market, you gotta take the fist back to make next move stronger, and it applies to both US and China. It is all a game.
