He was the same way when I saw him. Not really into a mass of people coveting him. I completely understand though. After doing a show, I'm not always into greeting the audience, either. It can be exhausting after performing to be expected to "perform" even more. Especially when you get the same compliments over and over. You run out of things to say back.

harrietkane is right. During Rent's last weekend in Tampa, I went to the stage door after each performance. Adam came out once, Anthony came out every time.

Adam just had surgery, so I imagine he was resting. Anthony came out in St. Louis as well, but I didn't stick around for the girl playing Maureen (who had apparently come out the night before). I got to meet the guy I've wanted to for so long!

I was there that day. i remember getting shoved by some guy who wanted to talk to the stagedoor guy, to see if he could get backstage, and i was like who does he think he is. it ended up being skylar astin and lauren pritchard from spring awakening....<3. I wanted to die, so as they walked away i screamed "Hi, I love you!!"

I love Anthony. He is soooo nice. After the matinee on the seventh, I held like a five minute conversation with him as he signed all the playbills. He's such a people person.
