It's interesting how every song I hear about relationships like this song, I think of eating disorders. I guess, in a way, Ed is my boyfriend and it's pretty complicated with him.
I like both versions as I love shinedown, and Hoobastank but i have to honestly say Doug's version holds more emotion. He moves the tempo up and down where as Brent kinda keeps it solid straight, but like I said I love em both, not hating :)

Brent adds emotion to the song by varying the tone of his voice. you can just feel the emotion he pours into his songs. HE is the best rock singer because he doesnt just sing any random song. Brent only sings the songs that he can relate to and feel emotion for. Brent never had any vocal lessons, he taught himself how to sing, and i think he does PRETTY DAMN GOOD!! :D

Shinedown and hoobastank are two of my favorite bands of all time but I gotta give this one to Brent. The words seem to be a lot more powerful as he sings them and they go a lot deeper to me. I liked Doug's version but this is the clear winner in my book! I can't stop listening to this song!

No one can say that they don't have a loved one that this song will remind them of every time they here it. I can't believe how Apacolyptica makes music that is able to bring out emotions in people that don't like rock/metal/classical musical genres. They know how to captivate the mind and capture the soul of music lovers everywhere. I hope they tour around where I live.
