I own a PS3 and I'll agree. However, it's understandable with its high price point that developers would rather go with a cheaper system. I have a feeling the PS3 will catch up soon, since its significant price cuts. Perhaps this Christmas season will prove that Sony isn't backing off of its stance with their big black machine.

ick, after watching that I want a PS3 even less and I didn't even think that was possible. Weak game selection, uninspired gameplay, the PS3 has nothing to offer right now. Come back in a year thanks.
Like Super Mario Galaxy and Halo 3 are "inspired" gameplay? More like retreaded same ol' same ol' to me. At least the PS3 tries to do something different, maybe not always successfully but at least an attempt is made.
Gravity rotation and dimensional swapping is uninspired? Not many games have done either.
Also, what exactly is the PS3 trying to do that's so special? The SixAxis uses motion sensing technology that is also present in the Wii-mote. Apart from that, it's only got horsepower which isn't much stronger than that of the 360, and does not come in league with ArsTechnica's Computer God.
If the addition of Blu-Ray disk technology is all it expands on, then you need to re-work your statement.

the commercials for ps3 make me want to buy one. i have a xbox 360 and they were definitely the better choice but now that the ps3 has a better selection of games and lowered their prices more and more people are getting them.

that is exactly what i am talking about. i hate the ps3 but it now shows actual gameplay so i can see the games. all gamestop has is madden so i have never seen any other games. they also sucked at first.

ick, after watching that I want a PS3 even less and I didn't even think that was possible. Weak game selection, uninspired gameplay, the PS3 has nothing to offer right now. Come back in a year thanks.

Like Super Mario Galaxy and Halo 3 are "inspired" gameplay? More like retreaded same ol' same ol' to me. At least the PS3 tries to do something different, maybe not always successfully but at least an attempt is made.

Gravity rotation and dimensional swapping is uninspired? Not many games have done either.
Also, what exactly is the PS3 trying to do that's so special? The SixAxis uses motion sensing technology that is also present in the Wii-mote. Apart from that, it's only got horsepower which isn't much stronger than that of the 360, and does not come in league with ArsTechnica's Computer God.
If the addition of Blu-Ray disk technology is all it expands on, then you need to re-work your statement.
