  • Morlum-Luk Thung-Big Big Sound!

  • the name of the song is "bai si chao ngo rotchana" by namphueng phetuthai & her group

  • สุอยอดเสียงพิณ ม้วนคักเสียงพิณตัวนี้

  • The organization committees supply and instruct consumption of copious quantities of the potion observed at 1.06 before noon. This ensures an authentic "spiritual" atmosphere. By about 2.30 observers will witness several ex soccer stars performing their dribbling skills without the ball often a clash with a harmonious penalty appeal causes excitement. Successful appeals are often rewarded with more potions until all resemble the walking dead. The second half is played in darkness. Whooooooooo

  • there is my home town!!!! would love to be there again!!!

  • i seriously love this song

    and that festival looks amazing

  • does anyone know the name of this song?

  • Nice video! Thanks for sharing!

  • I know, also find something subversively erotic about these Thai festivals! Maybe we should ALL strip off!

  • Someone help please. I've been to Thailand and heard incredible music there. Very funky, with great bass loops, great live drums, old electric guitar sounds, and energic female voices. It seems that it's morlam music (it sounds near the music of this video) but I can't find as funky as I've heard in Bangkok. Many of the morlam tracks I find are a bit cheesy... Please help me finding some good ones...

  • Look at the Sublime Frequencies catalog on their website. The world music they put out tends to be a lot less cheesy than other world music labels.

  • Also Cambodian Khmer rock sounds similar. You cant buy too much of it in the US but Youtube seems to have a limitless amount of it

  • I live like 20 miles from this city. I haven't had any chane to go to see this yet.I'd love to someday.

  • someday I'm going to Thailand to see this festival

  • @BooRadleysGhost

let's come here dude.. Isan is RAW!!! rich of culture and spiritual things ,,, even I'm from the North but

I think Isan is the most fucking funk of Thailand.

not ghost, it's a crazy music.

  • after much searching (I mispelled the title, ugh) I found the DVD and it's great. Mostly music, the slight subtitling or chapter headings want you craving for more, but the "molam music" is truly cool (and varied, some stuff sounds like 30's jazz gone Thai etc.)

  • go to sublimefrequencies on the web , it will have this video and also many musical releases like this and from other parts of asia, middle east, north africa etc...enjoy!
