Do as you wish - frannintendo64 used the U.N. Owen NES arrange (done by someone else from Japan) for a YTPMV this week, because both the original and the COOL&CREATE versions have been overused to death.

WRONG! It sounds VERY DIFFERENT from the MIDI. While the MIDI version uses nearly 12 instruments at a time and for each instrument can play at a time two or more nested notes, this one only uses up to eight instruments (six FM, two square-wave) at a time and each instrument can only play one note at a time. Also the percussion is very different.

No, PC-98 was an old 1980's/1990's computing platform by NEC (sort of an IBM rival in Japan); even though it too used Intel chips like IBM PCs, everything else (memory management, communications, etc.) was completely different, so Microsoft had to do different versions of DOS (and Windows) for that platform. Technically, operating-system-wise, the old PC-98 Touhou games were MS-DOS games, but not IBM-PC-compatible games. So you need a PC-98 emulator to run them on normal Windows

If you could also spot MIDIs for the TH09 themes that had no official MIDI version in the game (like Sikieiki's theme, for example), I would thank you.

The only TH09 themes with official MIDI were the title theme, the 3 pre-battle themes, Reimu's Colorful Path, Sakuya's Flowering Night, Cirno's Adventure of the Lovestruck Tomboy, and Mystia's Deaf to all but the Song ~ Flower Mix.
