Should I pick this up? I found a copy for $45and wasn't sure. I didn't like the first 2 games, nor have I played 3, so I'm a bit iffy about this series. Somebody reply and let me know if this game is good.

this game is good- now do you really want to pay 45 bucks?i would just download the emulator/iso ... its way cheaper and its actually fast not a huge download

It now dropped to $35 at the place I found it. I tried emultators for Ps1 games, but I can't get the PS1 bios set up.

I'm a bit late in reply Yarsh52 unfortunetly. It's a shame you havn't played number 3 I found it a MASSIVE improvement over the previous.

It's fine. The place that sold it still has it I believe. Their games are a bit expensive, so I believe nobody ever bought it. I think 3 looks really good. I saw a video on it and thought "Where can I get this game?" I think I'll start this series by playing 3. It would be nice to see some sort of download on the 360 or PS3. I would emulate it, but I can't get my PS1 emulator running.

yeah this game is good but breath of fire III is better hands down. the characters, and dragons are both far more superior in bof3. I also actually liked 2 more than this one plus this breath attacks and dragons all suck in this game. Not saying its a bad RPG but they didnt put enough thought into the game its self.
