I just don't understand the screwdriver mods. I understand the vapor tastes better and they produce more vapor and the battery life is longer and all of that. But it just doesn't seem worth the trade off for me. Every time I see one all I can think of is Owen Wilson's line from I Spy - "Look at the size of this thing! Size matters but in the spy world it's reversed! You're supposed to say Look how small and sexy and sleek this thing is... not how HUGE this is!"

definitely getting the KR808D-1 as my first vaporizer just for the benefits of everything and being able to refill/change liquids and carts with ease. Since I don't smoke as much as most analog people do (which that'll probably change) I know it'll be a good thing since it'll last a little longer for me :]

@rkorson42098 hey man , lots of other vendors have cartomizers , for the most part they are usually the same KR808D-1 cartoz. a few places like liquidxpress sell 510 cartoz and i know vapornine has some new non KR cartomizers.

people are usually fascinated , so i make sure i have a pocket full of business cards to give out , and point them toward the forums for more info. Keep in mind i never vape where i wouldn't smoke. I don't vape in the grocery store or anything like that. Usually only at bars or outside.

I used your idea of the cartomizer on my Blu battery. (yes blu kinda sucks) I got an adapter from altsmoke and cartomomizers from nhaler and.....BAD ASS! Thanks for all the tips the cartomoizers are definitely the way to go.

@justbourlier Well, with the 510 cartomizers that will work just fine I got a 510 to kr adapter for mine but the 510's should work just fine.

Hey nick, I picked this tip up off a forum, maybe you already know about it, not sure. BUT, you know how the nebula has a little sound activation thing at the end of it? Well if you slide the little cartomizer condom on it, and vape it at the same time, makes for an extra strong hit! Just wondering if you've heard of this before, it does drain the battery a *little* more than normal cartomizers. But the condom trick + a 901 atty = good times!

I guess I've just had bad luck with cartomisers.. all of mine gave inconsistent results. I've tried refilling but still sometimes I will get a great throat hit and decent vapour (never great) and other times I will get almost nothing, with the same draw method.

I'd love to find some cartomisers that are consistent and don't seem to waste my e-Juice like my current ones do.

yeah all cartomizers are not created equal , and i have had plenty of "duds" right out of the box , i have found that the vapor4life cartomizers and the nHaler cartomizers are among some of the best.

they don't really "go dead" at any given moment , they will slowly die IE: the draw will become really stiff. I have had a few that I re-filled for... 4-5 weeks , others die after 1 week. all cartomizers are not created equal

As are atomizes, I had two go dead overnight. Seems cartomizers are the new wave of e-cigs to me. So cheap!

You really need a shorter adaptor for that 510 on the SD. The Altsmoke adaptors are Awesome. It helped the SD tremendously. I don't know why they just don't make them for the 510 to begin with. I carry my VK with me every day as a backup device and for the car cause the carts last so long. Plus I enjoy an auto battery sometimes. As always a very informative review. Keep em coming bro.
