Think about it...if a person makes $25,000 gross a year, and after paying all the essentials, food clothing and shelter, has $5,000 left over, and and pays 10% of the gross in federal tax, that computes to 50% of their 'disposable' income. a person who makes a million a year, pays $100,000 in taxes, and has a disposable income of $500,000, that is only 20% of their disposable income

yes, it's all the republican's fault. What is a "fair share" of taxes, btw? The wealthy keep this country afloat with the incredibly high level of income taxes that they already pay. I would say a "fair share" would involve everyone paying an indentical percentage of their income to the Government. I guess this guy won't be happy until all of the millionaires are taxed at 90%
It's a pity that in a freemarket Republic common hard working citizens AKA middle class, bond together in common social, economic, and political interests to address their destinies. The wealthy few that pay the majority of taxes should, for the collective-to-be, shed their billions, release the wealth to those without. Surely those masses will, with the best altruistic intentions, cycle these new found funds, invest in service startups, light industry, hitech ventures; fuel a capitalist economy
