  • lol, i have done this with my kitted 190cc vespa S. lots of fun before a tire change!

  • To all the people who think this is scooter abuse, let me say that I've just had my 24,000 mile service on this scoot, and it still runs like a champ. I love it to death, and ride it every day!

  • @healthid You bought it,you enjoy it however you like. It seems that the ones crying "Scooter Abuse" probably can't afford a Vespa or are riding some cheap Chinese crappy scooter. People can't seem to mind their own business or its just plain jealousy.

  • Vespa's are too good to do this with , :(

  • seems like you should have bought a sport bike, not a scooter with an auto tranny

  • @Mattyew - I've got two Ducatis - does that count? ;-)

  • Wow, I own a scooter and ride it everyday. I beg you guys whole heartedly...please stop taking these things so seriously. You ride a scooter. Everyone you pass on the highway laughs at you as you go by. This kind of fun is perfect for a scooter. Nice video.

  • Everyone you pass on the highway laughs at you as go by.... (WHO ? no wonder they laugh at you) and you beg heartedly for what laughing at you again on the highway. seriously you aren't..

  • Congratulations. You have totally confused me. Your total disregard for grammar hurts my face. -laughs along with the people on the highway-

  • Sorry I'm not impressed !! vespa should be treated with a lot of respect..

  • its the new era of Vespa, cmon!? it doesnt have any value compared with old vespa! I allways do burnout when im going to drive, to clean and warm the tire! but i drive a yamaha Dt :P

  • i agree, he should've done a DONUT!

  • as he said the tyre needed replacing anyway, leave the bloke alone, he obviously respects his vespa, if he didnt it would be covered in scratches and dents from pushing it over etc.

  • Not what you want to be doing with a variable auto scooter ! itcan do serious damage to transmission....obviousley dosn't give a shit about his scooter..

  • it wont be doing silly things like that to it, ive just purchased a 300, no way will i treat mine like you are there, look after it buddy great times to be had,

  • what a waist of a scooter, you must have money to burn, nuts.

  • Actually the scooter is fine. The tire... not so much. But it needed to be changed anyway. I love my Vespa and ride it almost every day.

  • see, all these people just get worried because they've ruined vespas by going over bumps and think that doing burnouts will kill one(it only will if the intake takes in too much smoke, btw.)

  • bel motore........

  • wheelie? ;)

  • Ah, I wish I could, but haven't figured that one out yet.

  • Burnout on Vespa is misuse, and should be reported.

  • Ciao!I did the same with my Vespa 250 GTS and had to change the clutch/transmission.

  • Fortunately all I needed was a new rear tire. ;)

  • povera vespa !

  • Sweet1 How did you rig up the turn signal beeper?

  • Great! I've 250gtsi too!!! Can U hel me for a bigurnout?

    bye from italy

  • ciao Italia!

The trick is to bump the bars forward with your body, to lift the rear wheel enough to get it going. (With the front brake ON of course!) And give it plenty of gas.

Of course your tire profile will be a bit flat later if you really light it up!

  • Yeah it was. My son told my wife that I'd destroyed the scooter. ;) Took a bunch of explaining to convince her otherwise.

  • Id have beat my sons arse if he grassed on me!

  • Looks like Fun!
