She compared it to Star Trek, that's when a small part of me just died inside. She doesn't deserve to watch it anyway. BSG is reserved for good people to watch.

I'm a poor (lower middle class) Hoosier. I can't afford TIVO. I'm glad I have internet and low-grade satellite TV (I've had the same remote for the sat since '99). If I did not have satellite I wouldn't even have known that I couldn't watch it.

I'm not trying to sound mean. I just wanted to explain my situation.

Call your Satellite Provider, and complain how there service is horrible and you will take your business elsewhere if they don't do something about it, then say that if they will give you a DVR then you will stay. It works with DirecTV, got a free HD DVR, and HD service for free for one whole year.

I thought the show had a really good start. It's so dramatic for Kara and the crew on galactica. After Adama approves her to find earth that surprised me. But anyways the series will be one of the best I'm guessing.
