Well as you all now know, Piquet did crash on purpose after being asked to by Flaviatore and Symonds. What amazes me, is that when Renault sacked Piquet, did they not think that this would come back and bite them all on the arse???

How did it happen? He was told to crash by the team boss on lap 14 at an area of the circuit where there were no cranes, this ensured that the safety car was deployed. The onboard telemetry showed that Piquet accelerated into the accident, not braked as anyone else would have done had it been a real "accident"

He would have slammed on the accelerator half way through the corner and with no TC it would have spun the rear, hitting the wall and crashing
