Hey franco, it really depends on how the motor is built, and alot on the cam and head setup. For example we have all heard a stock 4cyl toyota truck, now for a 4cyl with some umph check out my yota on my vids and youll see what i mean. Its got a head job and a cam with open exhaust, just like the srt does.

I'm curious, why is it that no other 4 bangers sound like this? They sound all... ricey lol....fart can and all that. These are the only ones that sounds like they have balls. Is it the way the engine is built or can any 4 cyl be made to sound like this? I'm a fox body owner but i appreciate this sound.

because the 03 have smaller injectors until you upgrade to stage 1. and the 05 i guess are more finicky about what mods don't piss it off. but for sure stay away from the 03's

not that was all of it I ment back then it had that stuff and now i have added more to it. Its an 04 (the year you should get) and the exhaust is stock, except for the 3 inch down pipe with electronic cut out.

then... I have 62mm Throttle Body, Agp Motor and Transmission mounts, AEM full air system, Stage 2 Wastegate boostin@14Psi, Stage 1 Pcm, Msg inginiton, Hard Pipe Kit for Hot and cold Side.. Now i have it map clamped(boosting@19-20psi) have a HKS SSQV blow off, 3" downpipe with quicktime cut out. had it dyno-ed and it hit 284HP and 317 Tq... i have the new vid with the new downpipe on in the next day or two

I own a 6cyl Turbo. I Still cant get over the Awesome sound of a V8- Or the classic look of a Charger. If someone gave me the choice between the Charger and the Neon i wouldnt second guess- 1 Chargers Value keeps going up regardless of how fast it is, 2 Neons look like poo and probably drives that way to.

Before i bought my SRT-4 i had a 04 Neon R/T... stock is 160hp with bolton such as cold air SYSTEM,(i say system it cost more but, the short ram system just pulls air at engine temp....

Not really cold you know?)Throttle body, underdrive pullies, less restrictive exhaust,and get stiffer motor mounts. i got all of those and it put me at 195hp. and when you blow out the trany or waste the clutch upgrade it to a clucth master or something with a lightened flywheel. Somewhere in there is where i would start if i where you..
