Man this interview was amazing! I wish all interviewers could actually ask questions that T and S want to answer. If I were in this interview I would totally feel like Tegan and just sit there and watch Sara and J talk so much about so many intelligent things and just sit there like 'Yeah, hi!' I mean, they are both equally intelligent but I feel like these kind of interviews is where Sara shines and she gets to talk the most. I could watch this over and over!

I am quite surprised with how beautiful and cool these girls are. I only ever saw pics on their cd's and (not to be mean) thought they were really plain and unattractive. Seeing this I totally changed my mind. They're so pretty and really smart. I definitely will give they're music a go.

@carpexomnis This "guy" is Jian Ghomeshi, and he's one of the most renowned broadcasters/interviewers in North America. His intelligence is obviously too much for you to handle. 'The Q' isn't some MTV farce of a show. The best interviews come out of this program (including this one).

No wonder I'm so drawn to them! What they both said 13:15-22:24 really resonated with me, esp. coming out of my last breakup not too long ago which mirrored what Sara was saying about hers. And just in general struggling w/these things my whole life. I'm so glad they had the opportunity to say these things cos I've felt like sh*t and just so lonely about it. I appreciate their honesty, perspective, & talent so much, so thank God for interviewers who ask them intelligent, interesting questions.

yep. probably the greatest interview ever. very intelligent questions, with very intelligent answers. the minds and ideas of these two just blow me away. Tegan and Sara are the greatest. and they kept it really fun at the same time, like usual. i love Tegan's explanation of "Don't Rush", having the girl she's into saved as Bad Idea on her phone, that made me laugh pretty hard XD i'm in love with Tegan, and Sara!!

If this were any other 30 minute+ long video, I wouldn't have the patience to sit down at watch the whole thing, but because it involved Tegan and Sara, I was more than happy to spend a half hour watching it! This was a great interview! They are both SO knowledgeable and I think a lot of people really don't understand how intelligent they really are. Most people are caught up on their sexuality and not on the smart and talented individuals that they really are. *Okay, rant over* ;)

I think maybe it depends on the band and what light you see them in? anyways. I just thought that was really interesting.

Jian keeps cutting them off and ignoring what they're saying! The interview is about them, not him. The idea of an interview is to give a question and let them talk and answer the way they want to. They're so clever though, they don't let him push them around, and at certain points they're even, like, passively making fun of him.

Whatever, still a great interview because of how in depth Tegan and Sara (especially Sara) get into about the meaning of their album and relationships.

Makes for a better interview honestly. I wouldn't say he's trying to corner them, just asking follow-up questions and focusing on interesting points that come up. It's definitely engaged and a little sharp, but it doesn't strike me as overly adversarial at all. T&S do totally come off great though. I think they probably enjoyed this more than yet another interview that only sticks to all the "standard questions" that they must have answered 5,000 times by now.
