I had the pleasure of training with Sensei Kina From 1979 until his death in 1980. He was a very tough guy...believe me. I called him "Stone Face" because I never seen him smile. In the Dojo it was all business...when you walked in..you were all business. It's true....all the great die young. For the people who had a chance to train with Sensei Kina....I bow to you, because we had a the chance to train with a true Master of Karate. He will not be forgotten!
