  • art you can hear :)

  • such a beautiful song. they just don't make love songs like these anymore.

  • It's mind-blowing how Stevie was born blind, yet could describe a woman as if his vision was perfect. It's like he sees beauty we can't. Wow....gifted, gifted, gifted.

  • bitter sweet brilliance

  • i just love this song. tininhaDT thank you for knowing the lyrics!!!! :)

  • this is beautiful! its so different from the Jackson 5's version (that's the one I learned), but still great :)

  • Daaaayyuuuummm.... Only 7 dislikes vs 1,156 likes. That's insane. Stevie

  • Stevie, darling.

  • if you can, please post the SNL skit about this song with Eddie Murphy

  • Great use of string orchestra here. Wish bands today still did that. Beautiful classic from a genius....Stevie Wonder.

  • such a superb song!!

  • I love how sweet yet so sad this song is. I'm amazed that it takes a blind man to see the worlds true beauty.

  • @LunacyandBestWishes Stevie Wonder made a career out of turning pain into beauty.

  • @LunacyandBestWishes

It doesn't take a blind man to see the world's true beauty. I think perhaps you're over-romanticizing a bit. Stevie Wonder is a musical and lyrical genius. There are lots of sighted geniuses as well.

  • @dartfrog99 Stevie Wonder didn't write any of his lyrics. Musical genius? Absolutely... no question

  • @zackkingband How did I miss THAT? Thanks for educating me.

  • is that a flute? damn...

  • His best. Thx for sharing.

  • Am I the only one with tears in my eyes at the moment?

  • @SirKendalMintcake No!,I'm crying too.

  • this song almost made me get in a car wreck...cuz it came on the radio, and it sounded so good, and i got n my Stevie Wonder mode; so i closed my eyes and started movin my head around....immediatly, i reliezed my eyes were closed....but this song is so freakin cool...sing Stevie!!!

  • Few other songs from 1969 still sound this fresh today. The best songs from the '60s are simply timeless and this is one of them. Stevie has represented Detroit so well. Forget Kid Rock... STEVIE is the real deal.

  • His accent is so cute .

Ahahahaha, j'adore cette chanson " Cheerie Amor" xD

  • linda cancion cancion la adoro..............

  • Love this song, so romantic. <3

  • Like this if you pumpin this in 2011!!!!

Thank you very much to posting this video.

  • I LOVE This Song ♥

  • This song brings me back to when I was little, my mom and I driving through her hometown in rural Kansas, the sun setting, the windows rolled down and an evening breeze blowing in, Mom telling me stories of her childhood, and this song playing on the radio. Good times. Love you Mom! <3

  • am I the only person that is under the age of 20 that favorited this video?

  • @resinfinger13

Not true I am seventeen and I favorited this video, it is just the best. A really beautiful song, a work of art, simply remarkable.

  • @jojo199335 That it is! My mom always listened to the oldies when I was growing up. Everything from Bee Gee's to Jay and the Americans. I enjoy some of the music we have nowadays but there's a lot of days when I wonder what happened to music like this.

  • SUCH A VOICE......

  • My favorite by Stevie Wonder. Truly a master of his craft.

  • @EMMoney8806 what are some of the songs you love!

  • @EMMoney8806, I remember a lot of the older songs from my older siblings, which I thought they were really older than me, but I've always loved this one

  • Have you noticed the great songs rarely were longer than 3 to 4 minutes?

  • @september7girl I've been thinkin the same exact thing for years. That is so true.

  • This song is so special for me. I haven't seen her in 40 years but by chance I've located her, her name is really Cherie. Chapter 2 hasn't begun yet.

  • remember when you could scroll down the page and not sit through someone complaing about the ads?

remember when when someone got a thumbs up because they had a good comment and werent asking for them?

remember when.... um youtube is a corparation and the ads keep youtube going, so basically the corparation is being paied so you can wake up, jack off to rebbeca black then troll all the videos..shit get a life!

  • How about this instead? I think someone else (?) took Stevie's sight, then God indeed gave him the talent and ability to "see" into a musical dimension. The man is a national treasure and a musical genius.

  • 5 people dont know Cherie Amour

  • 5 people are deaf

  • what happened to music???? back when music used to be good--im only 19

  • Remember when you could watch a video without having to sit through a commercial?

Remember when music videos were uploaded by users and not VEVO

Remember when all the info was to the right of the video?

Remember you could rate a video 1-5 stars?

Remember the famous yellow subscribe button?

Remember when the users controlled the site and now corporations?

    WE MISS THE OLD YOUTUBE!

Post this in every video and lets start a youtube revolution!

  • @theorlando695 please stop spamming no one cares if you have to watch a 25 sec. ad

  • @theorlando695 all you idiots talking this shit are retarded. Would you like to pay a monthly service for youtube? Cuz its that or commercials. And I honestly dont want to pay for youtube, so I can deal with 15 seconds of a commercial. The fact that this is the second most voted up comment on a video with over 200k views shows how retarded people are. NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @sr1129 they are sometimes 30 seconds...

  • @sr1129 i'm guessing you've never been at the salvation army at noon, hahaha

  • @sr1129 All of you stfu. Your all wrong for bitching. the commercials and ads are for money, not so we don't have to pay. There were six or seven YEARS where it was free. It's a fact that even without the ads that we wouldn't have to pay. It's also a fact that that wanted more profits so they incorporated ads. Some ignorant people starting this rumor that without ads we would have to pay, well heres some logic for you, what bout 7yrs, So thats the REAL reason for the ads. Get the facts straight.

  • I am going to patiently respond to your ignorance. SOMEBODY paid for those lunches at the salvation army smart one. Maybe free for you or the homeless guy but someone paid. How long do you think youtube can support the massive traffic on their servers, maintain and upkeep the site and allow us to enjoy it WITH NO MONEY? They simply cant. Do they make a profit? Yea probably, but you cant run a webpage with this kind of traffic with no funds to support it. Just look at wikipedia.

  • @theorlando695 I agree with all the above...but what is posting this gona do about it?? I don't think youtube are gona take more notice of this than of the companies paying them thousands. Surely if we were to boycott videos put up by VEVO or something it might have an effect?

  • @theorlando695 haha.

  • what commercial was this song in?

  • i wasnt even born when this came out!!

  • How could someone dislike this song!

  • This song is proof that God took away Stevie's sight so that he could see into a higher dimension of musical perfection...

  • @RAV52 That is such a beautiful depiction of Stevie Wonders talent.

  • @WeOnTheSwarm If you didn't like my comment you could have just ignored it... kind of like I'm about to do yours.

  • @RAV52 Uh yeah, well if tht is your notion of god that it would deprive someone of sight so they write good tunes, your gods system is fucked and needs to be overhauled !

  • @jsilence418 Well, evidently God took away your brain and gave you the ability to be a DOUCHE, so maybe it's you who are fucked and your online personality needs to be overhauled...

  • @RAV52 No, there is no god stupid ,that is the point ! so you have no one to blame for being a shit head but you and your parents ! and your whole genetic line of diseased semen!

  • @jsilence418 Well, no God certainly would explain the existence of a mindless, souless crack baby like you... Do yourself a favor and kill yourself to find out for sure, cocksmoker.

  • @RAV52 lol please post more comments people love idiots like you it makes them feel good about themselves god took away stevies sight lol lol lol lol

  • @MrSluggo666 Satan? Who knew he had a Youtube account and likes to "lol" online...

  • @RAV52 Satan laughs loudest and best ,after all is there a bigger joke than you ? no lol lol lol lol

  • @RAV52 You couldn't be more right. All of his songs prove this.

  • @RAV52 dumbest thing i have ever read. why didn't your god just give him this voice and his sight religious hogwash

  • @proudbluestaterful You obviously don't read much. But then again, it must be kinda hard to read with your head up your ass.
