  • bonjour, comment telecharger moi pour mon ordinateur , aspire one cela mais telechargement terminé mais rien s' afiche merci de repondre a ladresse suivante : remintte50@hotmail.fr

  • now you can put Windows 7 on an Acer Aspire One Trust me i tried it

  • Okey guys, im fucking fed up with Linpus...In other words Linux is nothing for me(yeah its a good os but nothing for me), the limitasions is driving me crazy.

How can i remove it and install XP??

BTW: Remember this is my oppinion, it is better than XP in many ways, so its not bas but just nothing for me.

  • k you download it which will cost then u use a program to put the iso or img file on a usb stick shut down insert ths usb stick press f12 at acer screen and click on usb to boot then its self explanititory

  • just google for "how to install windows xp onto acer aspire one" or for "how to install windows xp from flash drive"

  • is it possible to put windows on a aspire?

i would like to have both

    linux and windows

  • Sure you could that.

I use only Ubuntu-EEE on my Aspire, but the hard disk is big enough to contain multiple operating systems.

  • @tigregooner Partition ur hard drive

  • un bébé , merde nonde dju !! jaques, chien !!

  • lol 20 Dieux !!!

  • what's the messaging software?

C'est quoi le soft de messagerie instantané

  • I believe I've read somewhere it is a custom programme, although I would say it is customised - some older version of Pidgin/Gaim rebranded...

  • Nice how the interface is in English and the guy is presenting it in French. C'est fantastique!

  • Why oh why do they have to put an XP windeco on it ?

  • probably to make it 'friendly' for linux newbies but i agree it looks horrible...

  • interface looks ok, but what about updating, is it debian-based with apt-get?

  • It's RPM rather than Debian, Linpus is based on a fork of Fedora 8.

Found the updating was rather broken and buggy, plus a lot of dependency problems as well when trying to install additional software.

After a few weeks of frustration, I junked Linpus and went with Ubuntu netbook remix on my Acer One. Things are much more reliable and work as they should.
