I have two schnauzers, they are adorable, one is black with a white underbelly, his name is Frietz, and the other Oliver is pure silver, he has an incident with a spider of somsort, so there are dense patches of golden hair on his mane for some reason. But anywho, I tried getting them on a treadmill, tied a treat to the front of it and put oliver on, after 10 seconds of trying, he got off, walked around and jumped up and got the treat. Theres Several Different Looks When It Comes To The schnauzers And Yours And My Oliver Have One of The Looks, They Look So Identicle It's Scary I Feel As If I'm Watching My Dog...lol THOSE EARSSS!!! I agree. This is very dangerous. This is an accident waiting to happen. And please stop saying his name so much. It drives dogs crazy. Otherwise, I do appreciate your idea of making him exercise since schnauzers are prone to gaining weight very quickly.
I have a miniature schnauzer named Maggie that looks just like yours but smaller and younger :) she was the runt :)
