'cos it sounds good. Well, no, they didn't do it for the sound, but an inline 5 is a bit easier to package in a FWD than an inline 6. Making a v6 instead would have just been a lot of hassle.

True Posi Traction has no slip whatsoever, both axles pull equally all the time. Limited Slip allows one to turn a small amount before locking them both together into posi style. It makes for smooth turns.... which is great for a FWD car... With Posi Traction you have one wheel hopping in turns due to the different speeds they need to travel during the turn.

Ive got factory limited slip in my honda and it always leaves 2 black marks on the road and when i do burnouts smoke comes from both sides of the car. I have owned both Jap and American...Simple rules.

Big engine not tuned to destruction will out perform very small engine with lifespan of 5k miles.

Its like a lightbulb, sure you can get it to glow real real bright, but it lasts on a few moments.

My Supra was a beast with all its mods, but I then bought a vette, and that with the same amount of cash on it became a whole new ball game.

They both have good and bad, so rather than slating each others cars, why not just appreciate them both.

@longboardguy You can get the early 2000's vettes for 20k or less these days. As far as insurance, For a 95 supra (TT) they wanted 390/mo for full coverage, and 305/mo for a 2004 zo6. I'm a 23yo male and those quotes were both from USAA and both for the same coverages.
